I visited the B&M store today and was very disappointed with the behaviour of one of the staff members at the till. I spent over £50, yet the lady serving me was extremely rude and unprofessional. There was no basic courtesy or respect, and it felt like my patience and politeness were taken as a weakness. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable in customer service and really ruined my shopping experience. I expect better treatment from staff, and I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue.

Great value, if you can find the product you want. I needed kindling for our wood burner. I had to ask a member of staff.

This shop seems to have a lot of what you simply don't need. If you want food shop go next door to Morrisons. A few times I been there to buy things I would expect to have and they don't. Filter jug, no but they have filters, compost bin, no. Little conifers seen in other store, no. This seems very empty . Would be surprised if still open in two years...

I visited your B&M store this morning & spent a significant amount of money in your store! A total of £101 pounds. That’s a lot of money! I could have gone to any other outlet, but this particular store was convenient as I’d just come out of Morrisons after I’d got a few bits. At one point she even calls a staff member over to give her a cuddle?! To me this is so unprofessional especially after the poor unfriendly customer service she gave me. Check your cameras if you need clarity & you will see your self that she was doom & gloom. Time was roughly 09:09am this morning. Your staff member that served me, was extremely rude! She looked miserable & she didn’t even greet me properly! Didn’t ask if I need a bag? Didn’t say goodbye have a good day? Just the basic things she was not able to do. She was serving a customer before me who had left the basket on the belt she asked me to put it away! No manners, no please no thank you. That’s her job not mine, yet I was still polite enough to assist. At one point I came back to the store because id forgotten to buy heaters, I bought two, one of the boxes where damaged so I asked if it’s possible to change the box, she cut me off & said yes… I quickly came back & she had let the woman go before me & was now serving her & I was now waiting, she could have politely said to the woman if you just give that gentlemen 30 seconds he will be right back & I’ll serve you, I’m sure the customer would have been fine! I had two items, the heater was not far from the till & the lady behind me had a basket! Why was this customer allowed to jump the line before me? Many times I’ve been at the till & someone has forgotten something they quickly go & come back I just wait. Never has the till operator told me to jump the line. She scanned the heaters, I paid for them & she left them on the belt for me to come & pick them up & take them! She could have easily scanned them and pushed them to the end of the till? She didn’t ask me if I needed a bag again. So is this the standards B&Ms is delivering these days? • No greeting by staff members • No thank you or please • No offering if I’d like a bag • Scanning items & leaving them on the belt is pure lazy!

Needed new pillows and sheets. Found some great sets at a reasonable price as well as drinks and other stuff I hadn't gone to buy! Beware, they are one of those shops you can't just buy one thing!

Good store , as long as you know your prices can pick up a bargain but never have more than one person on tills despite several staff standing around chatting on sales floor. Apparently they are not till trained!!!

A comprehensive store with a range of products. From food and house hold cleaning goods through to furniture and garden products. This store seemed larger than some of the others I e been too. Parking was good and shared with Morrisons. The first two hours are free and has a petrol station on site as well.

B&M is always a good place to get cheap stuff. This Northampton one also has very helpful staff. The model Daleks which I bought are delightful.

If I could give 0 stars I would!! First of all the security guard wrongfully accused my sister for stealing, when she did not!! Then after that he had the audacity to shout and be rude to her instead of being apologetic. My sister is a Northampton university student she doesn’t have to deal with men twice her age being rude and shouting at her when she just simply wanted to return goods. Then when making a complaint to a supervisor the supervisor said maybe because it’s been a busy day. Having a busy day is no excuse to be rude to customers, that is your job after all. After that incident the security guard proceeded to follow my sister around the store, which is just harassment because my sister did absolutely nothing wrong. VERY poor behaviour and customer service. That security guard should be embarrassed and he clearly doesn’t do his job properly, his job should be finding prosecutors and not shouting at young women.
