   Hi,Im very disgusted and unhappy with chips whitch I buying in this restaurant "Tasty Plaice" because chips was discusting and chorrible ! I paying more than £10 for two portion and I think that was waiting of money ! Im not recommend this restaurant for noone...

   The food is great. Chips are tasty and the cod is good with crispy batter. I try not to get a chippy tea too often but when I do I come here. Great stuff Edit: the place has recently been taken over but IMHO it's still a top chippie to visit. The chips are good, the cod I had last night was really tasty, crispy where it counts, soft and tender where it needed to be. Great stuff.

   I've been having food from there for 20 yrs. It's recently changed hands and the portion size has gone ridiculously small. I'd ordered Haddock and it was tiny, I've given bigger scraps to the cat. I know fish prices have gone up, but should've given the customer the choice of paying more or getting a sprat. Will be getting my food elsewhere from now on, its a real shame

   Health and Safety covid review - No hand sanitiser for customers on display. Once customers have placed their order they are asked to wait out side the shop in all weather conditions.Waiting times between 15 to 40 minutes. Staff wearing face masks but no catering gloves or washing hands been visible at any time of this visit. Pay by cash only at time of ordering. Perspex shield at serving location. No markings on floor for customers guide to social distancing. Two bench seats available but without covid distance restrictions in place. Four small signs on wall giving covid advice. Wheelchair entry to standard door entrance. Free parking across the road in Council Car Park which includes two disabled parking spaces. Controlled traffic crossing from car park to shop location. Bus stop available right out side the chip shop. No local toilets available in location near this chip shop. Quality of food review- Cod placed in same chip bag, not wrapped separately from hot greasy chips. At home cod soggy and broken up. Pea fritter tasteless in thick batter. Pickle onion tough to cut and tastes strange. Chips cooked to chip shop standard Hygiene certification not on display.
