Visited the new Northbrook Street restaurant early evening on a weekday, so it was a little quiet, but people were starting to trickle in. We've been a fan of Lusso ever since they just had an ice cream van, and it's delightful to see them having gone from strength to strength over the years. This is their best food offering yet - delicious well seasoned pasta topped with creamy burrata, huge arancini with a crisp shell and delicious dipping sauce and I got talked into having a waffle with snickers gelato for dessert! Husband had the tiramisu which was also amazing. Food came out nice and quickly and was hot and fresh. We asked for one of our pizzas to be cut up for us and that was no trouble. They offer gluten free pizza bases, vegan burrata, veggie "parmesan" - great to see as it's often tricky dining out if you have dietary requirements. I'm looking forward to returning to check out their cake and coffee offering during the day. Book now to avoid disappointment - it's going to get busy!

Friendly staff, nice patio. Spicy salami & nduja pizza Β£16.95. Expectations were high based on reccys and reputation. Toppings were top notch, extra heat with added chilli oil. Yellow tomato sauce was lighter and suited the excellent pork products and cheese. Dough was a tad disappointing; a bit dense for my tastes and not much depth flavour-wise. However very enjoyable overall. Rocket salad, while admittedly only Β£3.50, was just a bowl of oil-drizzled rocket. Asked for shaved Parm and Balsamic; received no problem and with a smile. Overall a good experience but I feel a little pricey even with the good sized pie.

Can't real fault this place - lovely location in a courtyard off the high street, great staff and very good food. I also had takeaway ice cream in a cone which was delicious. Only grumble would be a better choice of red wine as only two - not a fan of Malbec I went for the the other which did warn it was quite tannin. Maybe look at having a Primovito.

Amazing! This is the right place where food makes you happy!!! Just what I needed to end my 2022 year on the right note of happiness with loved ones sharing an incredible flavour. After this visit, I can't wait to come back. For sure this place is now on my list of places to dine with hubby. My dish was pasta carbonara, this was the best crispy bacon I have ever had! Only four starts for two aspects: 1. I had to wait a long time to be asked if I'd like a drink and 2. The wine bucket did not have ice or water. The prices were perfect, the place was cosy and the service was friendly and enjoyable.

Lusso is a pizzeria situated in Newbury. Off the main pedestrian high street take a wander down Weavers Walk, a mysterious alley way thatβs leads to pizza heaven. The venue is tiny and as you walk in you will be struck by how small it is. Donβt be fooled. The food is simply off the Richter scale. This is pizza done at its best. The calzone is to di* for. The calzone is huge and packed with meat and cream but so light you will think βwhy am I not sleepy?β I get food envy looking at the pizzas my friends order. Forget franchise mock pizza joints. This is the real deal. Best pizzas in town. I would consider moving to Newbury just for this place. But Newbury is lovely, this is just the pizza icing on the cake. Massively recommended. Well played guys.

We come here lots and cannot say enough positive things about the staff. All staff are incredibly helpful and always polite. The pizzas are freshly made and taste amazing. Lusso are always happy to tweak the ingredients on the pizza or pasta to a customers liking too. Ice creams are delicious and worth popping in for a takeaway alone. At busy times and weekends you need to book as it is extremely popular.

We received wonderful service with a happy to help attitude, we felt so welcome and made to feel relaxed. The food was amazing! fresh, high quality ingredients. The dirty burger with pulled beef was delicious! The garlic bread was so moreish. And the ice cream was divine!. Everything we tasted was top class yet affordable. A no-nonsense, easy to follow menu. We definitely recommend. And if we're ever in the area again we will certainly come back to Lusso!
