The best pizza I've had in the Midlands. Comparable (and better in some cases) to the pizza in Naples. Rich tomato sauce and well charred but light crust. Update: Downgrading to 3*. Whilst the pizza is good, 3 out of 4 times they have messed up the delivery.

This Italian restaurant tucked away in Derby's city center is a real hidden gem. Delicious authentic Italian pizzas, we got a capricciosa and ai carciofi, a tough choice as there's a large menu to choose from, but they were both amazing. Incredible Italian desserts as well, one of us had tiramisu and chocolate ice cream and the other had the cannolo Siciliano. A real taste of Italy! It was quiet and cosy in the restaurant as we went at 5pm on a Tuesday, I'd love to see it busy and buzzing in there as it's a wonderful little place.

Very disappointing that is says Halal online but it’s actually not halal after having spoken with the staff. Definitely needs to update it online.

Overall, brilliant place to eat out will definitely come again. We ordered garlic bread, BBQ chicken pizza and lasagna. They were all great value for money, arrived in decent time, and tasted excellent; we left full and very happy. Although the resturant was empty when we went (we went 6pm Tuesday night) there was still a friendly and calming atmosphere with interesting decor and lovely staff. Only negative I can think of- you have to pay £3 for water (did not enquire about tapwater). Owners: I recommend putting a sign outside by the high street or post lots on social media- you deserve more customers!

Such a shame as I'd heard good things. Our vegetariana pizza arrived a total mess. The taste was okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. And it was a little salty and barely warm. Deliveroo delivered.

Delicious fresh authentic pizza. My friends and I really enjoyed this pizza. The customer service was great. He came to the car just to give me my pizza. I will definitely be going again. I would love to try the other options.

Here in the UK we have a culture of taking other people's food and remixing it a little. We've done it with Curry, with Kebabs, with Pizza, a lot of the time the results are pretty great. This place is different. A proper taste of Italy. The pizzas are made with fresh dough, they're in the authentic style, and cooked in a wood burning oven. These are not like kebab shop pizzas. You can smell and taste the difference, even when we got home, you could smell the wood infused smoke. I ordered the margherita, the fireball and the 4 cheese (actually the margherita was thrown in as a freebie due to a mixup in the order). They were all good pizzas, but the margherita stole the show. I'd have posted pictures but we ate them pretty quickly.
