There were 5 of us eating including 1 vegetarian and 1 vegan and we all found a wide variety of food to choose from. The food we ordered was all delicious and the sushi was of high quality. The service and atmosphere were great and we will definitely return!
A totally original restaurant in Wokingham. Now getting rightfully very popular. Recommend you book or you might not get a seat. A very small team provide quality food made to order. The staff are great and can't do more for you. Plenty of authentic drinks on offer. For the quality they should charge more. Always had a good meal. My family were impressed and they a experienced eaters of Korean and Japanese food. We will definitely book next time. Try the eel its good.
I visited Sen Ichie after seeing all the great reviews and decided to give it a try. We ordered four types of sushi the quality and presentation were good, and the prices were quite reasonable for what you get. That said, the flavours were a bit underwhelming. The spicy tuna wasn’t really spicy, and overall the sushi leaned more on the sweeter side. The wasabi was very mild too, which might suit some people but wasn’t to my taste. It wasn’t bad, but not great either I’ve had better sushi around the Reading/Wokingham area, so I probably wouldn’t go back just for the food. On the positive side, the atmosphere and cleanliness were absolutely 5/5 a very tidy, pleasant place to dine in.

If you like sushi, real sushi, then look no further. This is no chain mass produced high street filler. It's the real deal. A fantasticly broad menu that will cater to all needs and best of all....won't break the bank. The service was exceptional with a young man (international student from china) being kind, courteous and recounting stories from his family to support my beer choices. Couldn't fault it!
Food was absolutely delicious, food took a while to arrive as there were alot of takeaway orders coming through. Other than awaiting for food we throughly enjoyed the food and the restaurant was nicely decorated We both had a ramen for our mains, and soft shell crab and calamari for starters. Highly recommend if you don't mind a bit of a wait
Really fresh delicious food that is quite different than the other offerings in town. Shared a sushi platter to start and had the salmon teriyaki for main. Both were excellent and the meal was reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.
Lovely food with great flavour! Appreciate the portion sizes as well. Staff was friendly. Would recommend and I can see myself coming back often!
Had a quick 1 hour lunch with them today, that GYUDON beef rice bowl was SO GOOD !!! thanks for that lovely lunch, and definitely will come more often !!! With a side of that CALAMARI, I had a lovely lunch today !!
We had a good experience on the opening night tonight, food was great and the service was decent too. Very pleasant staff. It wasn't perfect e.g. we had to wait a little but for our table, though we did receive complimentary edamame for the inconvenience which was a nice gesture. All in all we had a good time and will return
