Minimum +25% price cost to food hall in town! Blatant price gouging sick and dying patients and worried loved ones! Terrible they are allowed to do it by the hospital.
Very expensive, located inside Derby hospital. Do not sell sanitary products which is very strange for a shop in a hospital
seems far too expensive for ordinary food, kinda like an airport shop too pricey but nobody can access another shop unless you walk over the roundabout to Aldi, shop seems cold and bland like an airport also. only plus is theres another option for food and drinks other than restaurant, but people should be using charity shops located on level 1 much better priced just less variety of goods than here, theres no reason the prices have to be this high, understand higher than normal but double price for regular items is crazy
I have just made a return visit to this M and S food Hall in the DRI and having had no previous problems using the facility several years ago. I have just been made to feel incredibly uncomfortable. I had a member of staff standing incredibly close to me at the self service and talking across me to another member of staff as if I was going to steal what I was trying to pay for. I was also trying to sort my sparks card out and instead of asking if I wanted any help, they continued to watch me struggle. I have worked in retail and know how to observe thieves covertly, this is not the way to do it. Particularly, when visitors or patients are in a state of anxiety and might not be thinking clearly. Maybe they should bear that in mind instead of making a genuine customer feel uncomfortable.
Great shop when your visiting hospital and need a few bits of essentials, friendly and helpful staff, prices reasonable

They're very conveniently situated near the entrance of the main hospital. Generally busy atmosphere. I like buying the fresh juice bottles after I've had a few tests done.
Wide variety of different types of food. Lovely cakes and drinks. Clean and tidy. Very helpful and friendly service. Would be nice to have the human touch than a machine when you go to pay for your goods.
The quality is good, the presentation is lovely, the prices are absurd. What these giants of retail forget is that not everyone can afford certain prices and being it a hospital, some regards should be paid to state of those who require buying food to stay with a sick person or the person themselves, ill and only having one choice on offer. I hope they rethink this and show a bit more compassion.
