Really disappointing. Food was very average. We had 2 mains, 1 naan and 1 roti and a drink each which totaled to 83.00. They took our poppadoms before we had even finished. One of the waiters just laughed at the other (probably thought he was being funny). They already add the 10% service charge without asking you if you want to pay it! Absolutely ridiculous! Very poor service. Many other better indian restaurants out there who don't charge a bomb!

First visit, amazing food, wonderful service and polite staff. Made us feel welcome and homely. Highly recommended visit if in the burton/derby area. Food was absolute 100/10, will be revisiting asap! Left stuffed like a turkey at Xmas. Thank you! Amazing value!

Came to Anokis from Bradford after spending the day in Derby. Nearly missed it on the A38 so first impression of the location wasn't impressing but that soon changed with the astounding exterior deco (see pics) and ample parking. Service - Loved what the waiters were wearing as part of their uniform. They were extremely polite and talkative yet very busy. Always someone watching the tables should a table need some service. Toilets - very clean and fresh & accessible. Food - Expensive especially for a small plate of starters but nonetheless the food was delicious. The mains were a better size for the price and tasty. Anokis do a deal every Wednesday and a member discount which you may need to be mindful to checkout. Atmosphere - great atmosphere. Great deco and lighting, lively and impressive space & quality seating. I would definetly recommend a visit to Anoki.

Came here for Mothers day with the entire family. The staff are very good. Was a set menu that day but the food was still extremely good. Im not an avid curry fan but it was one of the best places for Curry. The view from the A38 is quite deceptive. It's a pretty big place and decorated incredibly well and feels quite luxurious.

This place is fine dining with ambience to match. First time visiting here but the whole experience was eloquent. At other restaurants I've been placed on small 2 people tables (was 2 of us visiting) but wasn't an issue here as they seated us on a 4 person table without needing to request it. Starters were delicious, I'm generally apprehensive but the fish was amazing. Presentation was lovely. Poppadoms and pickle tray with salad was served (they asked if we wanted these) We couldn't decide on main course, the waiter was fantastic and he reassured us going far beyond the normal level of service by conversing with the chef to create an off the menu item for us. Not something they usually do but they accommodated it for us. The staff were lovely and they had no issues with any requests we made. Anoki set levels from the interior, ambience even the rest room, hot towels after the meal and choc mints. The details take it up another level compared to others who try to go for a premium experience. Staff asked if everything was good with the meal and if we required anything else.

This was the first time I had eaten at Anoki in many years, purely because of eating out less etc. so I was excited to return. The food was great as you would expect but that's about it. The service was very slow and the cost was high for a meal that felt on par with other cheaper restaurants in the area - even at 2 for 1 on a Friday. Worth a visit but probably not the exclusive dining experience it claims to be.

The food is something not comparable to any other Indian place I've been to. Super fresh, balanced spice mix and good portions. Price is on the high side rightly so. However the despite the fancy Indian clothes all the crew wear, the service is lacking attention, needing to ask several times for drinks... And the room can get very noisy so that it became difficult to have a conversation.
