Dined at Amuse on a sunday for the sunday roast! The customer service is top notch! I felt let down by some of the food aspects tho! I had the soup to start, leek and potato which was delicious but i think it needs to come with a side of crusty bread and butter! For the main i had the beef, which was delicious, although my yorkshire pudding was over cooked, also they gave us one bowl of cauliflower cheese and one bowl of roast potatoes, this was to suit 3 adults, Im not sure why they did that instead of either seperate bowls per person or just putting it on the plate. I asked for more roast potatoes as i knew it wouldnt be enough but got given completely different potatoes which werent roasties but instead skin on potatoes which seem to have been boiled and very quickly roasted. I also asked for extra gravy which sadly was very salty! No real flavour just a salty taste that was quite unpleasant. For dessert i had the creme caramel pudding which came and tasted delicious but the presentation was very dissapointing, it had obviously broken from the mould when placed on the plate, id have expected better from a restautant which screams high quality and the chefs to re-do it. All in all the service was top notch and they did an amazing job on that front but the food wasnt any thing i would scream about except the soup that was AMAZING.

I really enjoyed the starters and will 100% be returning for the lobster dish. The lobster farfalle sauce was a stunning and rich bisque sauce which I scooped up with the sourdough. The scallop starter was my second favourite. I had the soufflé for main course which was little underwhelming and too salty. The bread was perfect and soft with a little hint of sweetness. Overall I found the food quite salty but the service and the curation of dishes were extremely well done. I can’t wait to go back and eat more of the menu and try my hand at some of the desserts!

We went for the six course taster. Was a great experience and loved every dish that was served. The chef managed to alter the ingredients for my partner who is gluten intolerant. Everyone went home with happy tummys...

Based on my visit the restaurant definitely deserves its Michelin mention. Had the chance to try the soup, lobster, deer and chocolate desert together with the wine pairing. The total was 155£, which one should expect as a standard price for this type of experience. The sommelier was a lovely lady who explained all the wines and the pairing was always spot-on. For the food, the only downsides were that the lobster sauce could be probably a bit less intense to allow the lobster itself to shine more and the cabbage truffle for the deer is a bit difficult cut properly, but at this point you can tell I am nitpicking. The restaurant is definitely 4.8-4.9 place.

Outstanding. Great to see a restaurant of this quality in Aberdeen. Had dinner last night and can’t fault a single thing about it. The pavlova is one of the nicest things I’ve ever eaten.

I'm probably being a little harsh and will give place a second visit. Can't fault food it was delicious. My two main issues were it was busy we weren't spaced out and being in a basement I found it noisy . I asked for my gravy to be separate which it wasn't so had to be sent back which leads me to next issue my food was not as hot as I would gave liked which makes me think it had been lying . My other two dining companions had no complaints. But two of us were a little disappointed.

Great experience from the outset. Booking was easy and well handled, we were warmly greeted on arrival and offered the choice of drinks in the bar or at the table and the setting is superb. The food was incredible. A Mushroom Risotto starter and special of Halibut were both excellent, though the mash was cool bordering on cold. Service throughout the meal was attentive without feeling crowded. Highly recommended.

From start to finish we had a great evening....dogs included. The food was sensational and the service was spot on. An added bonus with Kevin coming to say hello. This is exactly what Aberdeen needed. Can't wait to go back !

There is nothing like this in Aberdeen. Super laid back atmosphere, yet with a great buzz about it. Staff super attentive and friendly - a breath of fresh air to be honest. As for the food, simply superb!! Beetroot starter to send the taste buds spiralling; unusual, yet spectacular, langoustine with curry sauce; then onto a t-rex sized flavoursome monkfish tail dish that has already been all over social media and finished off with an OMG chocolate mousse (half thought of taking the bowl home to lick clean!).
