Our daughter attended between 10 months old and 2.5 years. Only left due to moving out the area. We found a well organised nursery, with small class sizes (I think 16 was the max), regular room themes and structured activities. Amazing outdoor area, with grass and animals like rabbits and goats on site. Swimming lessons on site once per week. External companies come into teach sign & sign, hartbeeps etc. Lots going on. Only negative for me was dropping you child at the door and not seeing her in the room, but is OK once you're used to it. Car park gets a bit rammed at peak times. Since leaving we have found other nurseries in our new area to be incredibly poor, particularly as the bar was set so high with Abeona. Expensive, but you get great value for money.

We initially chose Abeona Wartkon Nursery for our son due to the positive feedback we'd heard about the staff and the facilities. Initially, our experience aligned with these positive reviews – some staff members were truly brilliant, creating a nurturing and enjoyable environment for our son. However, over time, we observed a noticeable decline in the standards of care, prompting us to raise several concerns with the nursery's management. Among the issues we encountered were distressing instances of our son being sent home half-dressed, the use of nappies that were significantly too small, and consistently finding him disheveled at pickup times. Furthermore, the nursery's oversight in ensuring he wore appropriate footwear outdoors, despite the availability of his wellies, was disappointing. A crucial aspect of our concern was the nursery's communication, particularly regarding the daily log of our son's activities and care, which was often missing from his bag despite repeated requests for its inclusion. When we escalated these issues as a formal complaint, seeking a meeting with the manager to discuss our concerns, the response was underwhelming. The lack of a formal acknowledgment, coupled with the absence of a proposed action plan, highlighted a concerning gap in the nursery's complaints management process. The manager's apparent surprise at our request for a resolution to our complaint only added to our frustration, as we never received a formal response to our concerns. This lack of communication and action led us to question the nursery's commitment to addressing parent concerns and maintaining a high standard of care. Ultimately, the decision to withdraw our son from Abeona Wartkon Nursery was not made lightly. It stemmed from a growing concern that, should a more serious issue arise, the nursery's current processes would not ensure his adequate protection or well-being. While we acknowledge the positive experiences and dedicated staff members we encountered, the overall decline in care standards and the inadequate response to our concerns have overshadowed these positives. We hope that the nursery takes this feedback seriously and implements necessary changes to restore confidence in their care and communication processes.

My daughter joined at 11 months and has just left this year. Its been the best nursery and she loved every second. The swimming lessons, extra curricular activities such as Spanish and teddy tennis and on site mini farm have been favourites of hers (and mine). I would definitely recommend this nursery and hope to return one day! She will miss Abeona loads...

My son joined for his last year of pre school and I wish he'd been there from the start of his care. The facilities and staff are exceptional and he has absolutely flourished at Abeona! Their events are wonderful and well organised, the extra activities like theatre trips, Spanish lessons and in house swimming are way beyond what I would expect of a preschool. The graduation ceremony was an absolute joy and my son has been prepared well to start school in September. We will miss being part of the Abeona family.

When my youngest joined here, I was shocked at how much he came on!! Abeona was caring and attentive to all of my sons requirements. It has done him the world of good going here!

I changed my sons nursery to Abeona as he was diagnosed with speech delay and needed more help than his previous setting could offer. Abeona has a SENCO, who works with my son on a weekly basis and creates personalised plans for him monthly to help him develop. He has come on leaps and bounds thanks to her and the other staff here, I am extremely happy with the love and attention they give him and others. The setting is unique with on site swimming pool, huge garden, sand pit, pigs and goats! Great variety of food all prepared on site. Weekly activities such as swimming lessons, Hartbeeps, football, gymnastics etc all included in fees. They so do organised family activity days, again all included in fees, which as well organised and great fun for all the family. Truly giving my son memories to last a lifetime. Best thing I ever did was send him here, and would 110% recommend to anyone, especially if their child has more needs.

I can honestly say this is the best nursery I have ever come across. The staff are friendly and passionate about the children. The management are accommodating and efficient. When your children are excited to go to nursery then you know its the right place. We have been invited to numerous weekend parties for kids and parents alike which go above and beyond anything I've ever seen, bouncy castles, live magic shows, sports, bubble machines etc... The building and grounds are huge with big garden and activities with a mini farm including pigs, goats, rabbits and guinea pigs. Highly recommended...keep up the great work.
