Vegan pie was very nice. My 5 year old complained the chicken was too spicy and the peas and broccoli were overcooked. Could have just mashed them and called them baby food. Also it's rather poor that the drink option included in the kids meal is only an unhealthy fizzy drink.

Visited in August 2024 The food was very disappointing—tasteless and clearly pre-made. We tried lasagna, fries, and chicken goujons, and none of them were enjoyable. We were especially shocked to pay £8 for just 5 chicken wings—is this supposed to be Michelin pricing? We spent a total of £40 for: • 1 coffee • 1 lasagna Bowl • 11 chicken wings • 1 portion of fries • 1 hot dog • 3 cokes (£2.40 each). The food selection is generic, with no cakes available. Additionally, the park has a serious wasp problem—there were swarms of them everywhere. If you’re allergic, be warned. It’s baffling why they don’t invest in wasp traps to protect visitors. We also purchased a burger from a nearby stall, but it was poorly prepared. The bread and other ingredients were served out the freezer cold, as they are apparently only allowed to heat the meat on the grill with other ingredients. If this is the case, they should consider an extra grill to ensure the entire burger is properly prepared—no one wants a cold bun straight out of the freezer! Lastly, avoid the ice cream—it’s made with artificial colorants instead of natural extracts, resulting in a bitter taste in the mouth, that was unpleasant and artificial.

This is a spacious and family-friendly spot for a meal during your visit. It offers a range of food options, including hot meals, sandwiches, salads, and kids' meals, catering to various tastes. The café has plenty of seating with great views of the surrounding zoo and is perfect for a relaxing lunch break. While the prices can be a bit on the higher side, the food quality and variety are good. Overall, it's a convenient and enjoyable place to refuel during your day at the zoo.

Good food. The inside seating area could be bigger

The Christmas menu for the light walk sounded lovely, but was a real let down. Pasta portion was tiny, burgers should have had cranberry sauce but didn't, and the mulled wine smelt lovely but tasted of nothing. Also cashless, like the rest of the zoo, which is really off putting. Won't be eating there again.

Food was hot and exceptional. Roughly £10 each for food and drink is more than reasonable. Beautiful views of the wild horses paddock

70% of the menu not available mid June. Massive queue. The food we got was so bad. So bad. The burgers outside were good, just slow service (waited 15m). Generally next time bring your own. It will be a better experience even if you have sandwiches.
