The worst Chinese I have had in 50 years. Food is re-fryed, hard but mushy - & tasteless. Complete waste of money. Beware
Ordered a takeaway delivery which arrived promptly. We had the house special chow mein, vegetable curry with fried rice and chips. The food was all fresh and delicious and great sized portions. It was also very reasonably priced. We haven't enjoyed a Chinese meal this much for ages! Our new favourite, thoroughly recommend.
I been eating here since 2007 when I lived in Horton heath, the old lady I used to share apples from my garden with. I love the family and the food has never let me down. Thank you team
We purchased from Golden Jade a little reluctantly as our favourite local Chinese takeaway was closed. Now we have a new favourite! The portions were generous, reasonably priced, the quality was good and was not greasy like some can be. Staff were nice and friendly too! Will definitely be going back.

Wow this has to be the worse Chinese takeaway we have ever had. The Pancake role was inedible with batter so thick around the outside is was stodgy. Mushrooms tasted old and earthy with just cornflour making the sauce gluppy. Chowmein was also stodgy and cold and the smoked chicken was just dry and takes hours to chew it was terrible. That was £25 just wasted and money is tight and this was our first treat for almost 4 weeks and I feel totally ripped off. Don't bother and spend your money on heating as you will have more enjoyment from that.
Joyful service and a hearty dish from golden jade fair oak. However no prawn crackers with my meal of a total of £28.00 do I not feel like I am deserving the side dish of crackers with any Chinese meal purchase. It wasn't a review of lack of but I am entitled to know what and when side dishes are included I did not receive this information when ordering any dish from this Chinese takeaway. Menu has description for what and where the ordeal of crackers are included within set meals.
Possibly the worst Chinese takeaway I've ever had. The hot and sour soup had the consistency of gravy, though was actually very tasty. The rest of the meal was shocking. Chinese curry was creamy, pale and tasteless. Golden Jade special was practically inedible. The chicken in both meals was clearly frozen pre-cooked chicken, the beef was 80% gristle, grey and slimy, and while the prawns looked ok frankly I couldn't trust them.
