   Had Xmas lunch menu with my family 2 weeks ago it was lovely,great food and good portions.Went again today with work friends again great food and massive portions, thanks to the staff today they are so accommodating.

   Food was disappointing looked and tasted like it came from a box! no salad came as stated on the menu or a decent portion of onion rings just 2 rings.

   Nice pint of Golden Hen plus a half of cider for less than, £5. Nice atmosphere, TV not intrusive (mid week, no matches on.) Dog friendly.

   Just an update. We have returned several times since i posted this review. Each time the welcome we receive is heartfelt. Everyone is so helpful. Not just the staff but the customers too. Making room for me to get through with the wheelchair. The food has also been good. The vegan choice could be better as is limited considering how much there is now. It is also frozen so will not go off. Also please note not all vegans like mushrooms and cauliflower. My wife hates them but so many menues have them as main meals. Had an evening meal I am disabled and in a wheelchair This was no problem at all. Ramp to get in and plenty of room inside. My wife is vegan and had a vegan curry She said it was very nice. I had the beef lasagna. This was also very good. They were out of stock of a couple of choices but I wasn't bothered as there was still plenty of choice. The staff were great. We were made very welcome. Service was also great. We will be going there again.
