“Haven't been in for ages, last time was not long after it had opened. Friendly staff. Had the I think deluxe hot chocolate that comes with a cake. I chose a biscoff cupcake. Both the drink and cake were amazing.”

“Update January 2024 Screwfix asked for a review and then declined it, so here it is: "Out of date Alcohol Free Hand sanitiser. Ordered click and collect, went to pick up the 4 I had ordered, all 6 months past the expiry date, they checked the shelves, they were all out of date, despite just arriving in the store. They tried to tell me the expiration date meant you could still use it for a year past that date, "because you can with paint". They put them back on the shelves despite being out of date and in completely different bottles. Usually Screwfix are absolutely brilliant, but I wasted fuel on not just one trip to get there, but a return trip, because luckily I noticed before I got out the van, so had to return them, in rush hour, in the pouring rain, wasting yet more fuel!" And my wheelchair got soaking wet! Previous review: Love Screwfix, usually greeted with a smile, very knowledgeable, extremely helpful staff, love the app most things are in stock, or delivered in a day or two, ordering online or through the app, with store collection saves a lot of time, on the majority of things they are the cheapest, I always check with other local similar stores. It's very small but it is wheelchair accessible. I highly recommend screwfix to everyone, for their great service, great products, great prices, great product knowledge, availability of stock etc, and their app makes it so easy to find what you need, order in seconds, usually texts to let you know its ready for pick up within minutes, very impressed by Screwfix.”

“Sitting in conservatory, was very comfortable. We just had cappuccino and cake then later pot of tea and chocolate tiffin. It was very nice. Staff were excellent, carrying a tray of tea/cake for me and clearing table when needed.”

“The food was really good other than the Calamari which was not in rings and more like squid bites It was tiny for £9.25! Our waitress Aim was an absolute delight, she couldn’t do more for us. She made extra effort to engage with my 3 boys showing interest in the game they were playing and the food they were ordering and making our birthday celebrations that little more special. I can’t believe she has only been working there a few days, she’s worth every penny you pay her, hold on to her she’s fabulous. Thanks so much Aim”

“This pub has real character and is well worth getting to know! It is very much a local pub... But... The locals are really friendly people. It's right on the river but there is a quiet road between the pub and the river. In the summer you can sit out on the pavement and have a drink and still river watch. The prices are really reasonable and there is a good variety of quality drinks available. There is a pool table in the back bar and opportunities to watch sports but this doesn't dominated the character of the pub. Staff are lovely and the pork scratchings are fresh from the local butchers. Great pub!”

“Always a smooth experience at Booker Eastleigh. The staff are friendly, helpful, and make the whole process hassle-free. Customer service really stands out – always willing to lend a hand when needed. Only minor gripes: the ramp after the exit could be a bit easier to navigate (did drop some goods once), and a few items are priced higher than Tesco or Asda. But overall, the convenience, service, and range of products make it well worth visiting. Highly recommended!”

“Just had a great Sunday lunch cooked by Chef Luke. Friendly service from Sam. Roast lamb was great and my wife had a half a roast chicken which she failed to finish - just due to the volume - and to ensure she could fit in some dessert. Cracking crumble and excellent bread and butter pudding with homemade vanilla custard. Great way to end a weekend away. Hoping to book the place for a birthday party next year...”

“November 2025. Late lunchtime visit, not as busy as expected. Only about five tables being used, during our visit. Service was very good, as experienced on previous visits. Staff very helpful and polite. Food very good, a very enjoyable visit. Bank Holiday lunchtime visit. Not very busy on arrival, but the restaurant very quickly filled up.. Food ordered on their app, service was very quick . Starters and main courses were all very good. Staff were also very good”

“One of the better Chinese take outs in the area. Always busy on a weekend which is a good guide to the quality of the food. We opt to collect as delivery times are often quite long due to demand. Take out however is typically 30 minutes from order. We have found their predictions are normally spot on. The rice tastes nice and fresh, both egg fried and boiled. The chicken is always nice and soft with a decent amount of chicken in each dish. Similar with the beef. The duck in orange sauce is also a good shout.”

“Great experience. Received a 50% off email voucher and paid £22 for 2 games for 4 people. Just over £2 per game! Man behind counter was brilliant, and kept a calm demeanor despite being rushed off of his feet. Despite the fire alarm ruining our second game, this was a great experience. Will certainly be visiting again!”

But what really made the experience stand out was the service. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly patient. A big thank you to Manager AJ and our lovely waitress Dina — both were so attentive and genuinely friendly. There were also two male waiters who helped us a lot throughout the meal, though we didn’t catch their names. Still, their service didn’t go unnoticed! With a group our size, things can get messy, but the team handled everything so smoothly. Orders were taken clearly and accurately, and when it came time to split the bill, it was done in such a neat and organized way — really appreciated that. We all left full and happy. I’ll definitely be back, and won’t hesitate to recommend this place to my friends!”
