   An Honest Review ; Hollywood bowling is busy and has a loud atmosphere popular with families, children and teens. I understand a lot of people may love this place but I just don’t see it. Bowling as an activity is fun itself but for the price and place it doesn’t compare to other places such as Tenpin and Lane 7. It’s unbelievably more expensive than I expected for the quality of the bowling, around £55 for 2 games for 3 people ( NOT VIP JUST STANDARD ) which wasn’t what was advertised via in the bowling place and their website. ( £11.10 for 2 games per adult ) Hollywood bowling charges more than lane 7 which doesn’t make sense! The advertising is misleading and or false. There is hidden fees that aren’t shown on the receipt during higher demand as mentioned in a previous review. The bowling balls were really oily and unpleasant to touch. There are no dividers for group privacy. The UI program is cheap, slow and the animations are outdated. There are plenty of staff to help customers and yes they were friendly but that seems all that is going for them. I don’t care about the money , I would just rather they take this into account although it may probably won’t be. Nor do I want a reply from the owner mentioning they’ll take this information and do better next time. Be better , do better and we may come back again! P.S don’t ring to book unless you want to be charged! Book instore or online.

   Great experience. Received a 50% off email voucher and paid £22 for 2 games for 4 people. Just over £2 per game! Man behind counter was brilliant, and kept a calm demeanor despite being rushed off of his feet. Despite the fire alarm ruining our second game, this was a great experience. Will certainly be visiting again!

   Come here with my partner in the daytime on a week day we got a deal of 1 game and a drink for 5 pound each was such a good price couldn't say no. I had a beer and partner had Pepsi. We had fun bowling and was a nice atmosphere. Customer service was amazing lady showed us how to do the bowling machine and everyone was so polite and friendly. We then sat down in some comfy chairs and finished our drinks . We had a game of pool which was fun and you could either pay cash or card which was handy. There was a few arcades which we went on too. Maybe next time we shall try the food as looked good and reasonable price

   We recently visited this in Jan and booked 2 lanes for my son birthday party. Kids enjoyed bowling and food after bowling. Birthday Package was good and one of the organizer supported and helped thru out the 2 hrs in arranging juices while kids playing, tables, food and in cake cutting and distribution.

   We had a wonderful couple of hours here with the grandchildren. The place was very clean and tidy, food and drink reasonable in price and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The bowling itself was excellent: no need to do the maths any more, either, as the personalised display does the hard work whilst looking great. The young ones loved the funky (do we use that word any more?) lighting, which added greatly to the atmosphere. Recommended.

   No staff at the bar. Had to wait ages to get drinks. And no I already tried going to the reception for bowling to get staff. But they disappeared. I could see them around the building though. Would be great if they could just look at the bar now and then to check for customers.

   There was a wonderful summer holiday deal on - game of bowling and food for around £10 (can’t remember the exact amount). The kids loved having a go at bowling and playing in the arcade too! We had burger and chips after and it was a fab l, affordable afternoon out during the school holidays.
