   Been going to Good Friend for years and years!!! Actually ended up having a Good Friend for Christmas one year, feeding all 12 of us!! Food was still pipping hot by time we had driven out to Kingswells!! The last order we had, seems like they've changed the sauce with thr shredded chilli beef....... change it back please!!! No need for so many freebies, really should be an option. We hate prawn crackers and the chicken wings could be left out too - that's personal for us!! Can't wait to get stuck into another soon!!!!

   The food we had was PHENOMENAL. bought the sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style (41) and chicken fried rice (141) and honestly the portion sizes were SO good! I didn't manage to eat all the fried rice in one go, super filling and actually tastes so well. I have uncommon food allergies and they were easily catered for. Couldn't stress how amazing this place was. Service of staff was also wonderful, very kind and friendly workers.

   I don't understand what's happened with Good Friend... It used to be the best Chinese in Aberdeen, but the last twice we've ordered it's been pretty bad. Both times the chips were so stale! Almost as if they've been reheated multiple times. And my husband and I had an unquenchable thirst afterwards, just downing pints of water unable satiate it! It's really a shame. I hope it goes back to what it was before.

   The manager and staff are absolutely appalling. Very rude over the phone when I was trying to obtain the companies VAT number after I had requested the vat receipt with my order. They failed to give me a VAT receipt and when I rang to ask for it they refused to give me it, even after I gave them all the information about my order. They told me it was illegal for me to even ask for the companies VAT number which is absolutely not true. Due to the abismal service I would never recommend this restaurant.

   Did I catch them on a bad day? In a nutshell, I will not be returning. The portion sizes were small, and appeared to consist largely of very large greasy raw green peppers. The aromatic duck portion was difficult to find it was so small and cost £9.50. A tub of soup for 1, £6.80. Singapore noodles, not spicy, greasy, the ubiquitous peppers, the amount of meat and prawns included were risible. Even that great stalwart of the chinese takeaway, the bag of chips, was a small kids portion of very small, overcooked then soggy chips! 2 stars for it being ready on time and hot.

   We had a delivery from Good Friends this evening. Absolutely gorgeous meal. 10/10 for the noodles and bean sprouts. Everything else was fantastic, two large portions and good quality taste.

   This has been our go-to takeaway for years. Unlike others where their standards slip, Good Friend is consistently great with tasty food, good choice, good quality and fast delivery. Just hope they keep it up as really do love their food, probably a bit too much.

   The order coming after 2 hours very unpleasant food all meat hard as a rock and the prawn totally chewing gum....the crackers look like they was fried al least 3 times I will avoid this place totally and never order again.be carefull as well with the staff as they are very rude and lie to your face.

   Could be the best Chinese takeaway in Aberdeen! Nice shop, lovely staff that go the extra mile. Food is very good. Portions are gigantic!
