The food is really good and it is one of the very few places in the entire St Mary's area that has even a little bit of parking space. There's 2 areas they can improve, one of which is customer service. The people working are too much in their own world and conversations to even pause and deal with customers. When I visited I was the only customer in the shop but still had to wait a good few minutes before I was tended to. The second one is how the place is kept, the entire shop looks neglected. I was only there because a friend suggested it without which I wouldn't have even realized there was a working business there with the way it is at the moment. Also they've got a £5 minimum for card payments so remember to take cash if visiting. I would like to stress that the food was good that I would go back but a better service from the staff would be much appreciated!

I order Aloo parata the filling is not good. It was filled with big chunks of onion and the spice’s proportions are not balance.the parts was really doughy and thick in some places. It could be a lot more better. I think they are not taking their job seriously. Disappointed

This is not first time. once I ordered 50 samosas and I told them give me the bags for samosas because we have deliver it separately. They said you should pay for every bag., I told them ok give me 50 samosas separately. They pack 49 samosas in box with bags. I thought might be it is a mistake. I ordered chat and they gave me chat only with onions and samosas with chatni.I was so upset but I didn’t complain for one box of chat. Today I ordered 8 Naans and samosas and Jake I for guests They give me spoiled flour Naan. Even there were bad smell in Naans. I took half Naans to them back and show them it is spoiled flour Naan. They said it should be . I told them to smell. And they argue. We have given these Naan to one other customer it there were no complaints. What is this. Very bad experience

Food very good, however premises are not inviting. Could do with bringing in Japanese design team to show how and some cleaning would be good.

I love this place. I am a white Welsh man who married a beautiful Southampton born Indian girl, so I'm partial to some real authentic Indian food. We lived in Southampton for about 12 years, before moving back to my home town in Wales, and it seems we had to move back to discover this place. I always enjoy my experience visiting here. As a non Indian, who understands some Punjabi, I see they're so helpful and polite, whether spreading to me in English or to customers and each other in Punjabi. It really is a great experience. They make some fantastic food too. We're vegetarians and enjoy their mata paneer. We also enjoy their Samosas - they are amazing. Now, in every visit to Southampton, we pick up 10 or so. They are delicious. Well recommended. A big thumbs up.

Avoid like the plague, revolting. Got our order all wrong so we were left with just naan breads and rice and no curry. Biryani was just essentially the plain pilau rice with dry chunks of chicken in. Hairs were found in the rice. Called about missing curry - no apology but took our details. An hour later the monstrosity pictured arrived. Obviously annoyed that we'd complained and sent us what seemed like the remnants of a dirty pan? Joke of a way to run a business.
