   We just had a really excellent takeaway. Im shocked to see the reviews are 3.6. They should be 5 star for sure. Food was fresh, all individually tasty and perfect. And delivery service was quick. Absolutely no complaints

   I've been ordering from Peony for many years and always go direct via their own website, so delivery times is always quick (within 30 mins on most occasions) no complaints from myself on that. For the food, portion sizes is always generous and on this occasion we ordered large spring rolls, satay chicken, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, chilli shredded crispy beef, egg fried rice and Singapore vermicelli. Plenty of food with enough for a decent meal the next day. All piping hot and still crispy. I was especially impressed with the satay chicken, very generous size and tasted delicious and perfect texture.

   Very poor service. Ordered at 6.20pm, still waiting at 7.50, so called to be told the order hadn't even left!! Requested a refund and see was told it be would be a couple of days. Not a happy customer

   Ordered a takeaway it the phone at 6.30, was told it would be 1 hour / 1hour 15 mins. Phoned at 8pm to see why it hadn’t been delivered, was told it was on its way. Phoned at 8.30 still waiting ! Arrived at 8.40 , the food was cold. Won’t be using Peony again .

   Just had chicken curry which I wanted hot. Came out slightly hotter than a mild so extra hot next time and egg fried rice with spare ribs. Came to 13 quid and was happy with it. Sat night they were so busy, the phone rang every 5 mins and 5 people waiting outside. Have them 5 stars because they did a great job.
