   I sometimes stay at the caversham crown plaza and always head over to the River Spice. Absolutely superb, beautiful food, the mixed grill is just mouth watering. Highly recommended!

   Decent Indian restaurant. The food was pretty good, no complaints there. Service is excellent as expected in most restaurants. The view of the river and Cavesham Bridge is beautiful and definitely made the visit that bit more special. It was a little too quiet for our liking, but it was a midweek evening. It also has plenty of parking on-site which is a bonus

   Just had an underwhelming experience at the Indian restaurant I visited yesterday with my family. The atmosphere was alright, but unfortunately the food didn't live up to expectations. It lacked any real flavor or aroma of Indian spices - definitely needs some improvement! #indianrestaurant #disappointingexperience

   Excellent and satisfyingly spicy curry with friendly if at times slightly chaotic service. The veggie Vindaloo and Dhansak were extremely tasty and the only issue for the carnivores was slightly chewy lamb and the chicken was succulent. Tasty Onion Bhaji/samosa starters, decent portions. True, we had to make a slight effort to capture a bill at the bitter end but this only involved a little encouragement at the bar. Great views on a summer evening but probably only if you reserve an earlyish table. Plenty of parking spaces on a Saturday night.

   An above average Indian cuisine with a reasonable variety of buffet selection on one Sunday evening. The main restaurant was clean and comfortable seating but the men’s toilet was with wet floor and water continuously pouring from the defective urinals! Strangely enough there was no safety or warning signs.
