I’ve been a regular at Madame Mews for years, and it’s easily my favourite restaurant in Aberdeen. The food is consistently delicious, the portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. If it’s your first time visiting, I’d recommend starting with any of the curries – you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been to Madame Mews many times and normally absolutely love it. The food is usually tasty, convenient, good quality and really affordable – it’s been one of my go-to spots for years. Unfortunately, my visit last night was really disappointing. I ordered the Pad Thai and the smell was immediately off – it had a damp-dog, sour smell, almost like spew, and the taste matched the smell. I genuinely gagged trying to eat it. I’ve had Pad Thai in many places, including in Southeast Asia, and it has never tasted like that before. I’m not sure what went wrong with the dish, but it was so unlike the quality I’m used to from Mamamuse that I couldn’t eat it. I’m genuinely gutted because this place is normally great, and I hope it was just a one-off mistake. I’d love to see the usual standards back on my next visit - if I visit again. When I went home I had a sore belly from the few bites I did eat. Would hate to see the state I would have been in if I did eat a hole portion. A little update - I did tell the waiter and she said she would let the chef know. I was on a date with my boyfriend and didn't want to ruin the night by making a huge scene. I have multiple gmails as lots of people do for different things and just happened that I was logged into this one (my professional account) normally I write reviews on my personal account. Sorry for not making that clear

Madame mews is one of my favourite restaurants to go to for delicious authentic Thai food. The staff are always friendly and the food tastes amazing. I highly recommend the starters - pork moo ping and the sweet butter prawns, pad cha with prawns for main and for drinks - olden style iced tea with condensed milk is the perfect refreshing drink to complete the meal. The Tom yum noodle soup is very tasty but anything on the menu is a hit - must try spot in Aberdeen!

I’d heard a lot about Madame Mews and how it’s considered the go to Thai restaurant in Aberdeen, and honestly it didn’t disappoint. While it’s not the best Thai food I’ve ever had, it’s a very close second and certainly one of the most authentic spots I’ve been to in the UK. The Pad Thai was absolutely epic, full of flavour with the right balance of sweet, savoury and nutty, and the portion could easily feed two. In fact, all the portions were huge, and for the price, it’s excellent value for money. The staff were really polite and attentive, and the place itself has a colourful, vibrant atmosphere that feels genuinely Thai from the decor alone. There was no music playing, which was a bit of a shame as some ambient Thai music would have really added to the experience. It's definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re in Aberdeen and craving proper Thai food.

Great food and nice service staff. Chicken satay, almond chicken starters, thai green and red curries, jasmine sticky rice are some recommendations. Would advise to book table in advance especially on weekends. Prices are average and not too expensive considering the great tasting food. Place and ambiance is cool.

We always used to stop by in the market before it was demolished and this was our first time and the new location. I nearly cried from how perfect everything was. It's such a welcoming and uplifting environment, it's not too loud, everyone is lovely and there's a strong sense of community. Portions are big, food and drink are delicious, and it's totally cool to come in and have just a drink or a snack by yourself or for lunch or full dinner. Zero pressure and always friendly. The prices are also great. I'm disabled and autistic and though it is quite bright which could be an overwhelming sensory experience for some, the music is gentle marimba and I always find it restorative. One of my favourite places in Aberdeen and I'll go back again and again

Wide range of selection. For our starters, we had the deep fried prawn king roll and the Kai satay. We also had the Tom yum, the Thai egg noodle and the beef stew soup. Everything was delicious, the staff were really attentive and welcoming. Good atmosphere and an enjoyable night.

Wow! Delicious meal! We ordered a selection of sides and mains, and each dish was flavoursome and interesting. The bill came to less than 50.00 which is great value. Staff were attentive and service was quick (although we never felt rushed). We will be back.
