Service getting slower and always sent to wait in the drive through even for simple orders Food quality can be of mixed standards, yesterdays particularly poor
Staying at the premier inn just down the road as I am working in the area. I didn't feel like peopling at the bar/restaurant so opted for drive thru McDonald's. I read a few reviews here as I was curious and it didn't seem like I was going to have a good experience. Oh boy I couldn't have been anymore wrong I got to the kiosk and was greeted by very polite young lady and then followed by a very kind young man. Both wished me a good evening and then finally at the window receiving my food. I was greeted by previously mentioned lady and they were very polite and wished me a good evening while handing me my food. Now the food food itself being a double quarter pounder burger with no gherkins and six chicken nuggets was phenomenal. Very hot the nuggets juicy and the burger also. Now I don't normally rate McDonald's but this was single-handedly the best to drive through experience I have ever experienced
The teens that work here are generally lovely. However, you always have to wait for food. Sometimes up to 15 minutes and that’s with ordering in the app. They cannot seem to manage the level of business they receive. Likely need better management. And orders are almost always wrong. Something missing.
Absolutely useless. First we were handed our burgers through the drive through window and asked to park up and wait 3 minutes for our fries. We declined and said we would wait for all of our food to come at once. After waiting in the car for 15 minutes I went in to try and collect my food. After a further 25 minutes, I was offered just the fries. 10 minutes later finally got most of my meals before giving up and leaving. Cooking are was not clean or tidy and fries were being put into the cook baskets next to a full bin
Busy place. At least you know that the food is fresh and not sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long. Unfortunately, it also means that the garbage bin was full and the tables weren't clean. The milkshake wasn't full, and the chocolate flavour was chalky. The hamburgers were bland. I'm glad they were not greasy, though. The fries were fine, but there was no vinegar.
Bland, bland and bland. Burger, fries and OJ. You cannot get mayo to go with anything as they no longer serve it. Left very disappointed and would not use that place again.
Gentleman that took order very polite,young blonde with face mask who took payment not even a thankyou same as young girl who handed over goods ,didn't offer sugar or stirrer no receipt very unpleasant
All the food was piping hot. Seems worthy of a mention as it's something of a rarity for any Mickey D's. Also despite being really busy we didn't have to wait very long for the food at all so kudos to the staff. Parking was an issue as always at this site but you can hardly blame McDs for that
not 24 hr !!! opend doors late by a few minutes when could see me stood there in hi vis workwear in -4 degree weather. orderd double sausage egg muffin. roll was hard.egg had shell in and hot chocolate was a cup of milk with lumps of powder in.not impressed
This McDonald's has got great staff, quick service and always very accomodating. As we take some of our service users from our day centre there every week and they are great with the individuals we take .
