   Im from the coast grew up on fish and chips all over. This wasn't such a good fish a chip shop. Missing item on the order. Cod tasted stringy not too flakey, batter was soggy and found a bone in my cod. The curry was was pretty good. But the chips were a little on soggy side could done with a little longer. Not too oily tho which was nice to see. Tiny bit pricey for the quality and portion.

   First time trying this place and was not disappointed. Serving sizes were more than plentiful and decently priced. Food was super tasty, best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time! People working behind the counter were super lovely too. Will be returning soon!

   Deliciously prepared fish and chips. The fish is made with just the right amount of batter, perfect cod inside! Chips are tasty and fresh, a generous portion. Staff are friendly & smiley. If it's busy, they take your order, when the food is prepared they bring it to you outside. We've had fish n chips from here umpteen times, our go to takeaway! Fair price, too!

   Wow!! I had the med cod and med chips. Both picture are 1 medium portion of chips. We also go a large and have way too many. But my boyfriend says they are really good!! Being American I’m all about the fish. It was so light and flaky and was the best tasting I’ve had yet!! Highly recommend!!

   This is usually one of the best chip shops in Reading but today's food was so poor, chips were very dry and awful. The sausage was terrible, must of been left in for ages in the heat protector. Fish was good as usual amd fish cake decent but the chips ruined it I'm afraid sadly.

   I am Genuinely saddened by how much this chip shop has gone down hill! I am or should I say I was a regular customer, I visited tonight placing my order over the phone around 20:20pm after speaking with a rude/incompetent little girl I've made my way to the chip shop to be told " my colleague has sold part of your order" I mean how unprofessional is that! She couldn't care less about wasting my time or not being able to complete my full order. I won't be returning! It seems you are losing regular customers due to the extremely poor representation and mannerisms from your current staff. The girls that used to work here were friendly, competent and capable, exactly what you'd hope for when your a paying customer. These new girls are brain dead and rude to say the least. I'd consider revoking their employment before they put you out of business. I'm genuinely not interested in spending anymore of my money at Sea Master, such a shame as this was my favourite chip shop in Reading!! I'll be going else where from now on. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour.
