   Partner phoned Wednesday lunchtime to say myself and 1 year old son will be in for the buffet, figured it would be a great way for the little one to try a bunch of new foods And I've heard good things about the place, , she asked if a reservation was needed and was told just to walk in, Arrived at 5:15, only 1 table of 3 was in, was immediately greeted with a Do YOU HAVE A RESERVATION! By and abrupt older man in a black shirt and red tie, I calmly explained my partner had called ahead and was told it wasn't needed for 1 and a highchair, He then stormed away, came back and angrily shouted to put the highchair at the side and sit here, A lady picking up a takeaway said "he's not usually like this" Absolute joke of service, just wanted an evening with my son, trying new foods. Will not be back, Not how you treat a customer, especially with a 1 year old. Didn't eat, immediately left before I lost my temper, Went to the Carron to Mumbai instead where little man enjoyed a korma and coconut rice and good quality service

   We went on a Saturday night, were a party of five adults. Seated immediately, place has a lovely ambience. The menu had loads of choice and the food we ordered was absolutely delicious, a particular mention for the chicken korma served spicy, this was amazing. Adding to the experience, the friendly but professional staff, made our evening really special. Would definitely eat here again. Five stars !!!

   Tandoori Haven WAS our favourite Indian until this evening. I wanted an Americano coffee when we sat down as I'd had a busy day. The waiter said so a black coffee and I said an Americano and yes black please. I know my coffee and no way it was an Americano. The food was good so couldn't fault that although the waiter put two different types of Naan on the same plate and when I asked for separate plates they pulled a side plate off an empty table so half the bread was hanging off on to the table cloth. The food was only warm as were the plates. The service was not like it used to be. No smiles and everything ordered and delivered to the table was as if they just couldn't be bothered. We also had a waiter setting a table across from us and I'm not exaggerating was throwing the cutlery onto the table and making so much noise while doing it made it even worse. The service used to be impeccable here but not now. It was a special occasion for a family member and to be honest it was just embarrassing. We used to go a lot and get take-aways but we'll never go back. We normally tip 10% for good service but I gave them zero as I was that annoyed and embarrassed after telling my family member how great it was. Just terrible. My rating keeps changing to 5/5 for the food but I only gave it 2/5 due to the heat.

   Went for an early dinner here. Lovely modern decor yet with a hint of nostalgia. Only had a main course as not huge eaters, but what we had was fabulous and good quality. Service was good and everything was clean. Will definitely go again.

   Avoid Avoid Avoid this restaurant at any cost. We in total 14 people visited the restaurant and the manager and the server gave us the worst attitude. First criteria is we need to order all the dishes in one go? No adhoc orders excepted. The manager also started to argue when we wanted to order extra food. Which restaurant denies extra orders ? Food : all the coloured curries with worst taste. The dish for which the restaurant was awarded is a big let down. We literally had to beg for water and glasses. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ANY COST.

   What a lovely place, with great (really great) good and friendly service! We were urgently scouting for a place to eat on a Monday night and came across Tandoori Haven. A very attractive restaurant, with glittering lamps and white table cloths. We were warmly greeted and taken to a comfortable booth where we were presented with menus and treated to the beginning of what was courteous service the whole night. While browsing the extensive menu we asked for assistance in picking out some dishes which they were happy and quick to offer (making one dish milder with extra cream). We had papadom and chutney to start and vegetable palak, roshni and pakora. Everything was spot on. From the authentic tangy achar, mango, onion and mint chutneys, to puffy crisp papadom, the just right mild palak to garlicky roshni everything was high quality and delicious. My super picky eater loved the pakora and even enjoyed the palak. The adventurous eater who doesn't love spicy yummed their way through the mint chutney and palak with garlic naan. I was very pleased with not only the just right level of garlic in the roshni but also that all the vegetables tasted fresh and still retained their flavours within the fish. The naan was big, flavorful and soft. The service was both impeccable but also kind and friendly. They seemed to know what we needed and offered it at every step. We will definitely be back to Tandoori Haven soon and often!

   Been going for over 14 years, food has always been consistent and great, first class service. The recent refurb has just elevated it to the next level. Stonehaven has 3 great Indian restaurants but this is the best. Takeaway option too if you don't want to sit in
