Absolutely awful, Donor Kebab tasteless with the texture of cardboard. We were looking forward to a tondori mixed grill (tende, moist, selection of meat) and a sweaty bag of overcooked, oily mess arrived. 0/10.....
Food tasted awful, chicken was over cooked, the curry left a load of water in the bowl and didn’t even taste like the curry we ordered. Will not be recommending and certainly won’t ever get from there again
First time using this place & never again! I had a large Donna kebab. Well what can I say! The donner meat was bland & tasteless the strips of meat were the colour of sand not like any other place I've had kebab meat, one side was shiny like leather & the other dull & it was dry. I couldn't eat the food even after a few pints it was unappetising. First & last time I'll spend money there.
We've had a number of meals from Nicole's and enjoyed every one of them. Their large kebabs last us 2 meals so makes for great value. Never had an issue with their food. Highly recommended.
Nicoles has improved a great deal. We wish there were small portions and advice was offered about good combinations. My meal was tasty, but everything was too 'wet' when the combination was served, resulting in too much mingling of flavours.
Was recommended this takeaway, we usually use the ones in Rumbridge street. They were very friendly, the takeaway was very clean and kept to all COVID safety. The food was amazing and we’ll definitely be using this takeaway from now on. The food was so tasty and great quality ingredients, very impressed.
Decided to grab some dinner here after a busy day at poultons park. We were staying in the premier inn and didn’t want to drag three tired kids to a restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble they gave us cutlery and extra containers to eat from. Everything was hot, fresh and so tasty. The portions were big, no scrimping on the Meat the staff were friendly. Will definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area. :)
Quite honestly the best Indian takeaway I have ever eaten. And I have eaten a few. What sets this place apart, is the fact that the kitchen is open plan, so you can actually watch them prepare your food from scratch - if that's your thing. It really is fascinating (not to mention reassuring!). Great value, great variety and great food.
