By far the worst subway I’ve ever been to. Food was not good, not enough sauce and didn’t have anything in stock.
No Guac in my 'Chicken and Guac' sub.. pretty basic issue to miss out the main ingredients of a sandwhich. Especially when you have to fork out almost £8 for it.
Solid salad. Liking the new ordering screens, which feels less rushed when making decisions
The sub I ordered was hacked up I ordered hash browns within the sub which is cheaper than ordering on the side, I was charged for 6 but only received 4. Unfortunately as it was a takeaway I didn't check until I got home to eat. Otherwise I would have gone back. Sub was NOT wrapped up correctly and as I walked out bits started falling out. I usually really enjoy subway and have never had a complaint before but I won't be returning to this particular subway.
Don't get the lady to make your sandwich, she's the sloppiest sandwich artist I've ever come across. The manager is great though. He needs to let her know to take her time a bit more so that her sandwiches don't look like mini explosions. Been here 10+ times and it's always the same pattern. She probably just needs some gentle reminding is all.
Turned away today for someone in our group having a guide dog. The managers reason was that it is still a pet. After us refusing to leave and insisting on them still serving us, they became very abrupt and rude. Will not be returning again anytime soon, even though I do like a good subway!
Used to visit this subway whenever I got fuel as it's in a petrol station, last week I walk in and the manager explains my last card payment was declined and he didn't realise at the time. I repaid the £9 for that transaction as well as the same for my meal - checked online banking that evening, the transaction had gone through so I paid £18 for a sandwich, thanks for that. Consider me no longer a regular. I fill up every two weeks, hope the £9 extra profit was worth the £225 lost revenue per year.
Asked if there was any fresh lettuce for my salad as it was brown and slimy looking to be told that's all they had. Slimy cucumber and tomatoes looked old. I get you don't want to throw stuff away that's good but it was rotten food and it was still being put into subs. So I didn't bother ordering . God knows if they don't care about salad being fresh do they care about meat being off?
Subway located inside petrol station near the roundabout on the way to Reading/Basingstoke. Has a friendly and witty staff, I had laughter there couple times. For warmer days there are 2 picnic tables outside so you can sit down in the open. Not very quiet though as it's next to the busy road.
