Old re-heated chips from lunch nuggets tasted like old oil. Even the bin didn't want them. very depressing chippy everyone seems grumpy and unfriendly and unwelcoming. Avoid
Super fish and chips tonight. Can’t comment on service or atmosphere as my sister went to get them. Portions were more than adequate and chips and fish were lovely. Will be going again!
I ordered a small chips and the lady was so polite friendly and very generous and these chips was out of this world but great and lush highly recommended
Tiny, tiny portions. Staff absolutely miserable. Much better places to get chips in the area. Got there late on another occasion about 10 mins before closing & they couldn’t be bothered to put a curry sauce in the microwave. Last time I’ll use them. Avoid.
Been going here for a few years now and tonight's chips were awful. Like reheated from lunchtime, all hard and chewy, absolutely disgusting. Staff have never been friendly but chips have usually been pretty good but this time just awful.
The picture doesn't show happy valley fish and chip shop. The shop itself hasn't excellent food and good friendly staff the food is good value for money too.

Honestly awful. Probably the worst burger and chips I've ever eaten. Chips were obviously re cooked and greasy as hell. The burger was tiny and deep-fried. No salad option and didn't come with any sauce. I threw most of it away tbh
Mixed, wife's cod was fine, large cod was inedible (mushy fish and soggy batter), chips were hot but slightly under cooked. Room for improvement! Staff ever so slightly surly, but suspect thats because it was busy and they felt under pressure.
