I was not a fan of this food at all. I ordered the chicken masala for carryout. It was oddly VERY sweet and tasted of tomato more than anything else. Not flavourful at all. There were also only just a few chunks of what appeared to be chicken breast. I messaged the restaurant with my complaint who told me what I ordered is not intended to be hot. They seem to be confusing heat with actual flavour. The meal was not at all worth the price. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Addendum: I decided to give this restaurant a second chance, and unfortunately that was a mistake. Based on my previous email exchange, I purchased the madras this time, as they seemed to think it would better suit my taste. When I arrived to pick up my order, I was confronted by two men who reprimanded me for my initial review. They insisted I was “mistaken” about what I thought I had ordered prior—despite the fact that I had already corrected the typo in my earlier email—and said they were keeping my receipt as “evidence.” What they failed to understand is that my complaint was simply that the food did not taste good, regardless of whether it was masala or madras. Rather than using the interaction as an opportunity to discuss my experience or provide genuine customer service, the two men chose to lecture me in an empty restaurant late at night, seemingly unaware of how uncomfortable and intimidating that situation was. I had hoped to update my review positively if this visit went better, but I couldn’t even bring myself to try the food after that encounter. I will not be returning, and I would strongly advise others to take the polite online responses to negative reviews with caution; they do not reflect how this business treats customers in person.

Came in past 9pm and they were more than happy to serve us, they even made fresh fresh naan and onion baajis because they had ran out. We were the only people in the restaurant and it would’ve been all too easy (and understandable) to not make anymore food since they were closing soon. The service was great, the all you can eat was exactly what was needed and the price was excellent. Will definitely come back.

I've been coming to this place every week—it's my favorite restaurant! One of the best things about it is that they’re happy to customize the food to your preference. Whether you want less oil or no oil at all, they’ll gladly accommodate. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend everyone to visit at least once.

Absolutely love the Sunday buffet. Constant supplies of fresh, delicious food. The chicken tikka is to die for. Best Indian restaurant around

We eat here very often and have always found the food to be very good, taste and modestly priced. We have been through most items on the menu and although some are more to our taste than others each dish is always superb

Very disappointing. Sunday buffet, the curry was inedible for me and none from us was satisfied - too sweet . Disgustingly sweet - I complained and said that I love curry but this one is not edible however still was charged full price.

Poor experience yesterday at Darachini, which is unfortunate after several good meals over the last few years. Party of 6 with 3 chicken curry's being inedible due to the chicken pieces being too chewy, (however sauce was good). Then charged £2.25 for a coke, not even poured into a glass, served in the can which had 95p clearly printed on the side. Then told, (Incorrectly I believe), that the service charge was compulsory. Very disappointed

Great curry - had a lovely chicken tikka masala, but you need to remember to bring your own alcohol. The soft drinks are very limited and I know it’s only a small thing, but I had lemonade and you could tell it was really cheap quality. Poppadoms, one drink, rice & curry about £25 per head.
