I really like jumbos, but I do feel like the fish batter has gotten worse recently. But the stars are really friendly, chips are good. But the batter needs a little work.
Tasty food however portion size not good. Usually get lots. I ordered a regular chips and curry sauce (as usually get a large but it’s too much) and discovered when I got home it’s about the suitable size for a child. Really disappointed and ended up having to have toast after my tiny portion of chips.
The staff were lovely and gave us a 12in instead of a 9in. We ordered a nugget meal, nothing fancy. Everything is lovely and it's very local as well, will be going back soon. Thank you.
For a local chipper, not too bad. I've had better and I've had worse. Enjoyed my large fish and half chips. I didn't need the full large fish it was too much for me. The chips were nice and crunchie, so I made the wrong choice which is not their fault. First time I've been for years. Won't hurry back but that's just because I have my favorite that's not far away.
I ordered online and arrived 20 minutes later to collect my order. Within 5 minutes I had my order and on my way home, great service. Plus with my saved points I redeemed them to discount my bill. Thank you so much. As usual the fish and chips were a delight to eat and our friend enjoyed the jumbo sausage supper.
Just had the finest chips and jumbo sausage in a long time. Lovely polite staff. Were closing and said come in, we'll cook you what you want no problem. After the day I had, music to my ears. So thank you. Will definitely be back...
Our takeaway was good. The fish portions were quite large. All the meals were nice and hot & not very greasy (hate greasy chippys) Staff were helpful & polite
The chicken filets was totaly disgusting they laced them with nutmeg and the chicken was slimey and totaly greasy. If it was not far away I would have come back with it. We have been before and liked it but as of last night there is no way we are coming back!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very friendly family run business, easy to order. Enjoyed the fish and chips meal. Comparatively more expensive but great value for money. A nice local community feel and atmosphere.
