Fantastic takeaway, food is always excellent and service is great. Would not use anywhere else for curry night!
Had a family gathering at the weekend and got a takeaway from Shahida's. As always, very friendly service over the phone and on collection. The food was all piping hot, the meat dishes tender and nicely flavoured, their veggie dishes especially the tarka dhal is delicious. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I'm sorry to see low star reviews as we order from here regularly and have it's always good food.
If you like really really bland food then this might just be ok for you. The food was edible. Lamb quite gnarly but not chewy. Tested 3 different curries, sides, naans and rices. All the same low bland quality. I don't mind if a spicy curry lacks spice, but to lack flavour of any kind is really disappointing. It is a struggle to find a good curry anywhere in this area. My advice is pop to M&S (or even Tesco) and get their premiums curries, cheaper and a 1000 times more delicious.
We had a takeout about a week ago and I was quite disappointed with the food. The service was great, but unfortunately the food didn’t match. In my opinion was too sweet and as such not very authentic. Not bad but didn’t seem authentic. Maybe it was just a one off , since other people have different opinions.
Order some food here as have been having trouble finding a decent curry take away. Ordered a chicken tikka biryani and a lamb tikka starter. Food was piping hot, plentiful and delicious. Staff were also very pleasant. The ordering from their website was painless so no need to use the food courier people that don't care if it's cold or not. Will deffo be back

Delicious authentic Indian food, and such lovely friendly staff. We won’t go anywhere else. We’ve got the whole family now going to Shahidas. It’s busy sometimes with wait times over an hour for delivery but so worth it and food always arrives so fresh and hot. Thank you Shahidas.
First time ordering from here and we really enjoyed the food. We ordered an assortment of dishes including veg korma, saag gosht, butter chicken and a Shahida balti. All the dishes were delicious and the order came as per the expected delivery time. We were told all items on theire menu are halal and we will definitely be ordering from here again.
