   Great 30th birthday meal. Celebrated my friend’s birthday, and we all loved it.We were seated in the little private room which was perfect for us. The food was delicious . The service was excellent , the all waiters were all very attentive including our main waiter Mirza.

   We recently hosted a 30th birthday celebration for 20 guests at The Viceroy in Duffield and the experience was truly five-star from start to finish. If you're looking for a venue to handle a large party with ease and elegance, look no further! The service was absolutely fabulous. Managing 20 people, including separate dietary requests, is no small feat, but the staff were attentive, professional, and incredibly welcoming, making the evening flow perfectly without any stress. And the food! The Indian cuisine here is genuinely exceptional - our set menu was exceptional and all piping hot. Several of our guests commented that it was the best Indian meal they had eaten in ages. Thank you to the entire team, particularly Mirza, for making Henry’s 30th birthday celebration so seamless and memorable. Highest possible recommendation!

   I had a superb meal with my wife. Onion bhaji for me to start, very nice although I prefer the looser ball style to the patty. My wife had sliced lamb loin with rogan sauce which she really enjoyed, and she is difficult to please. I had goat salun which was excellent with a deep flavour. The staff are very pleasant and the boss was in the restaurant and he is a very pleasant gentleman. The location and parking are very good. I look forward to my next visit.

   My wife and I are happy regulars at the Viceroy. We just want to thank you for when we came yesterday with a large, family group, age range 18 months to 93 years. Of course, we had booked in for an early Friday evening meal, as Fridays get busy. You really looked after us and the food was very tasty -thanks again!

   Very nice. Large menu. Really tasty food. The higher prices are justified in my opinion because the food is a cut above other Indians in the area. The decor has a feel like it was posh in the 90's and has been patched up over the years. Everything felt clean though, just a little dated. Nice atmosphere and friendly servers.

   I believe the experience was 50/50. It's a well maintained restaurant and some of the staff were excellent. They messed up the order and gave my friend an extra hot curry, which meant he couldn't really enjoy rest of his meal. We got mixed message around the buy 2 for 1 deal, but that wasnt major. My lamb was well cooked but overall it could have been better. Cost us £30 per head.

   Authentic Indian atmosphere with nice suggestions to avoid kill the dish taste if too spicy. Table service is good, maybe a bit confusing with too many people to serve as some plates got switched.. (but it was fixed quickly)

   1st time visit and the food was amazing. One of the best I’ve certainly tasted in my years. One star off as the wait for food was very long, they had no non-alcoholic beers and the car park was rammed with people mainly not in the restaurant. Might have been a one off with it being Father’s Day I suppose and I definitely will return to give it another try. Top class food.
