   Saturday 14th January 2025 Today, we came to this real ale/tail restaurant This place was mostly good food but somehow is in the latest good beer guide when only serves 2 basic beers are on hand pulled and most people come here for the food The beers on hand pulled were okay I had a beef curry and egg rice costing almost 20 quid in all The food was good well prepared, but there was an over spice to the curry that burnt your mouth and killed the taste This place has good courteous staff and lovely interior decor as well. For food eaters, it's very good shame for people like myself. The real ales are dissapointing

   We were visiting Salisbury and really wanted to eat here but unfortunately they were fully booked. However we stayed for a pint and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The ale was excellent. My husband is a beer snob and said it was one of the best kept pints he has had in a long time. We will be back to eat - and we will make sure we book in advance this time!

   Didn’t expect to have this delicious Thai food in Salisbury. The receptionist at our b&b recommended this restaurant, and coconut soup (don’t remember the exact menu..) was my favorite.

   A fantastic old cosy pub that serves great Thai food. Friendly, informal feel with a very welcoming atmosphere. Great value and good size portions. Worth booking as it is quite a small restaurant and I'm sure they are always busy. We will definitely return next time we are staying in Salisbury.

   I have nothing negative to say about Rai D'Or. We truly loved every single dish we were served. You can tell everything was cooked fresh, piping hot, beautifully soft meat and incredibly delicious. The service was amazing and we loved the vibe. We come from London but we come down to Dorset regularly and will definitely make this a frequent stop on our journey (maybe both ways...).

   Had a lovely meal there with two friends. We went for the 3 person set menu, which was a good range of food and there was plenty of it. Combined with a good mixed starter and then nice desserts the meal was lovely. Staff were friendly and we're able to cope with my friend's peanut allergy.

   Ok, 2ndvisit. This is the best Thai in Salisbury The pub it's based inis a genuine olde world's log fires place. Only issue is it's not open that many hours n you need to book. Do plan ahead and book. It's worth it.
