   Giving 1 star as that’s minimum I need to select. Don’t go ever, they’ve very irresponsible staff. An incident has happened with me just now. I ordered 3 items(1 special kids meal, pepper prawns and chicken fried rice without egg(specifically)) they asked for 15 mins and took 30 mins. Post that a staff came to me and said in kids meal 1 of the items isn’t available and another item will take 10 mins more, I asked her to replace that with Idly, she agreed and brought my order in 5 mins. By then I was pissed off completely and just to confirm I asked. I hope you’ve not added egg in the fried rice, she went again inside and started discussion with staff which has confirmed that they did. Cook checked his order and found that it was clearly mentioned to not add egg despite that he didi that. Then they were asking for 10 more mins to wait. I had already crossed my tolerance limit, I couldn’t take order cancelled it and asked for money where again they started discussion internally and wasted my 5-7 more mins. I walked off without having my money and just came outside and then a staff came and told me that will bring you cash. Really frustrating, I don’t want this to happen with anyone else. Please avoid Chennai Dosa.. they’re not eligible to serve.

   Visited Chennai Dosa on London Road, Derby and had a fantastic experience. The dosa was crispy and full of flavour, the chutneys and sambar were memorable, and the service was friendly and attentive. A great spot for South Indian cuisine — highly recommended!”

   "Son this is not the same as Dakshin Bharat (South India)" I enquired "Not the same taste as Dakshin or Shiv Shakti in Leicester!" Cash only so make sure you visit an ATM! Masala Dosa should be more Curry filling then Crepe. This Masala Dosa was the opposite and frankly, not as tasty as the fare we indulge ourselves in. Immaculately clean throughout with a wash basin and power hand dryer (essential in every Indian cuisine restaurant) as we enjoy eating food with our hands!

   Decent spot for a quick bite. Tried their takeaways and dine in and prices are super affordable. Food is okay, some dishes are really good while others are just average. It’s good for a quick grab. Only issue is they take cash only unless you are ordering online for takeaway. Overall good option when you are in a pinch.

   Update: second visit, the food was very good, but I noticed they charged me for a takeaway container. I think this was very rude after I had given a £5 tip. My first visit, I was highly impressed. Clean with plenty of seating. A very comprehensive menu. The food arrived quickly, very hot and had the most amazing flavours. Great service with great prices. I'm certainly visit here more often.

   Came across this place while driving past. Parking is an issue bit managed to eventually find a spot on a side road. The inside is very nice and the staff friendly. Did came out quick and was very well priced. The sirloin steak was good and the chicken parmesan was just ok. Would come back for the steak and drinks.

   Ordered the rump steak with pasta, was quite nice and enjoyed it although it was over cooked from the medium rare I asked for. Overall, I would recommend this place as a go-to steakhouse in derby city, service time was very quick and prices were reasonable.

   Ordered 3 steaks and a pizza between 3 adults. The food was 10/10. Steaks were cooked well and the pizza was very nice too. The drinks were £1.95 for unlimited refills which was well priced compared to most other restaurants. The cleanliness was also 10/10 and can not be faulted. The toilets were also of great standard. Our waiter was Amaan who provided exceptional service and we will definitely be coming again.

   Very nice and clean place and the staff was friendly. We ordered a medium T-bone steak and Chicken Nimbala. The steak came not just well done but overcooked which was very disappointing. Chicken Nimbala was decent. If you want to eat steak I won’t recommend this place.
