   Our booking was for 20 people. The service was efficient and helpful, and everyone was served in good time. Two people ordered the Aubergine dish, but it wasn't to their taste, an exchange was offered, and no charge was made. It was handled very well. Much appreciated how they sorted out the bill for us to pay individually. Excellent!

   Great looking country pub. Excellent location and well kept grounds. Ample parking. A wide of drinks and cocktails. Catering for non alcoholic too. The food is excellent. We had for starters chilli prawns (delicious) and fish croquettes (excellent). Mains, we had sea food linguini and home made chicken and mushroom pie. Best homemade pie we've had and the linguini was very tasty and plenty of it. Our only criticism is my wife asked for more gravy and after pouring on her pie it revealed to be very watery. Unlike the initial gravy that came with the meal. The desserts were cheese cake and white chocolate tart. Both delicious. Would definitely go again yo eat.

   This is a great place to visit, and the food did not disappoint. I would definitely visit again. The roast dinner was excellent and incredibly fresh. The chicken was very succulent, and the trimmings were just as good. The crispy roast potatoes were perfect, and the portion size was generous. The beer-battered fish and chips were also very nice, with the fish cooked just right. I highly recommend visiting this place. Kid friendly also.

   Went here for a Sunday roast for the first time & was extremely impressed. It has a modern look from the outside & an old school rustic feel with a modern twist inside. Great selection of drinks, wines & beers especially & the food menu for Sunday roast was excellent. The surrounding area is lovely with views of Derbyshire, views I can only guess would be spectacular in the summer. We will definitely be back!

   Attended a pre booked Christmas meal for 15 people. The 3 course festive meal was excellent value for money at £27 per head. Drinks were good and a great selection of beers were available on tap. Atmosphere and service were excellent. Really enjoyed the experience and would return but a little out of the way. A really enjoyable destination to eat and drink at.

   Wonderful warm welcome, seated immediately, and drinks ordered and arrived within minutes. Food was served hot and quickly, it was very tasty Highly recommend the pork cutlet which came served with goats cheese, asparagus, fried eggs and potatoes The guinea fowl was flavoursome and hot. The whole meal was delicious and service was with a smile. Can't wait to return.
