Ordered for delivery was told would be 45 minutes arrived within 35 minutes, the food was piping hot which I didn’t expect considering how far I live from the takeaway. Good portion sizes for the price aswell.
Lovely different tastes, not sure about the chicken dish, didn’t look very appealing. All in all would order again.
Ordered Honey chilli chicken, half rice and chips and a small portion of BBQ sauce, said it would be half an hour delivery,almost an hour later, tbh chicken tasted tough, as in re fried, same with chips, only good part was BBQ sauce, have been going to this takeaway for over ten yes, don't know if it's because of new owners but will not be back!
Chow mein was nice, prices are higher than other places which makes me wonder if they're taking advantage of people staying at the hospital. The service was abrupt but not rude, just direct.
I regularly order from this takeaway but won't be again. My father was treated very rudely by the young girl on the phone last Friday, with no reason at all. I have once encountered this girl in the shop and she was rude to me and anyone who called to place an order. I thought perhaps this was a one off but clearly this is her attitude and behaviour at all times. Considering Ruby is more expensive than most like for like takeaways, I do not expect this type of service. I used Ruby 2-3 times per month, however will not use them again.
SHOCKING! have ordered rubys since last year and prices have been okay & similar to most takeaways. Over the past few days meals have been sneakily increasing in up to £1-2.
The price rises Ruby Chinese have put on is nothing but shocking! We travel from around 10 miles away as it’s always been nice and good value. But adding around £1.50-£2.00 on each meal isn’t ok at all. We won’t be back in afraid with price rises like that. Disappointing but there’s plenty of other take aways with more reasonable prices.
Just walked over from the maternity hospital 2 Big signs Cash only but about 4 cars outside from online ordering firms so I guess cash in take away but card online just walked out. Won't be back
Discovered this wee diamond when ma misses was in having our baby. I've never ate from another Chinese yet, great portion size, staff are absolutely class. 5 stars all day. If you've not tried it yet get in about it, superb
