Seen reviews some good some bad, thought give it a go, wish we hadn't. Starter was big but greasy, no plates which I found strange had to eat from a rice bowl, pretty hard when using a knife and fork, so have to cut up your food and then use rice bowl, just found that weird. Not the nicest Chinese have way better. Duck was more fat than meat, oyster sauce was more like soy sauce. Service was very slow for the mains then going to charge extra beers on our bill! Over priced for the standard, was very busy but won't be back.

An authentic Chinese restaurant in a traditional English Tudor building. The service is fast. The menu has everything you'd expect from a Chinese restaurant, including set meals from £23 upwards. The prices are good, £55 for 2 people, which included starters, mains, rice, and beers.

We were first surprised that this restaurant was overpriced in comparison to others around the area. However, we decided to give it a try which we now regret. Considering the prices were high we were surprised to see the small portions provided, again in comparison with many other restaurants. We ordered a Malaysian curry, but unfortunately we were given a standard chicken curry, which further added to our disappointment (I’d also like to add this was at the opening time so wasn’t at its busiest). My partner had to pick the chicken out as it was slightly pink! Lastly, we couldn’t believe how extremely oily everything was, which left my partner and I feeling unwell. We are extremely frustrated for wasting our money on such poor food and service.

This is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to and now I wouldn't go anywhere else. Any dish is always cooked to perfection and the staff are lovely and friendly. You can bring friends and family here and know it is going to be a fantastic meal. In 7 years I have never had anything but fantastic food.

Very nice restaurant with tasty Chinese food! Owners are very welcoming and I loved their service. Do visit and give a try. Slightly more expensive than others around. Card only accepted above £10 and charge for below. Covid prevention measures are good too even though the place is not busy.
