    We've used the Four Seasons for years. It's the best Chinese takeaway in Thatcham by a long way - the food is just divine. It occasionally takes a while to get through on the phone, but that's just a sign of how good the food is - keep trying and you'll be rewarded!

    Lovely food made to order just a shame I forgot to ask for king prawns and mushrooms. However I've been thinking of beansprouts, water chestnuts and bamboo shoots since breakfasts.

    Food usually very good, but attitude leaves a lot to be desired. I take responsibility for my egg allergy by only ordering foods I know to be safe. It is very constrictive and often inconvenient, but necessary; so it's a bit of a kick in the teeth to be served a wrong dish containing egg. You should consider yourselves extremely fortunate that I realized before eating it.

    2 stars as the chilli chips was good. Chilli beef was disgusting, like chewing pure fat. Also the staff was rude, sat on their phone taking no notice. Don’t waste your money.

    Not a bad Chinese and overall very good - I had the Crispy Chilli Beef and found it a bit plain but it wasn‘t bad. Had the sauce been more and the overall flavour a bit more then it would have deserved 5 stars. Went here based on the reviews and the closeness of the hotel. Ordering was easy and fast and if you spend over £10 you can use your card but otherwise its cash only. Food is served quickly and the hot & sour soup was delicious and fresh. Like I said the Crispy Chilli Beef lacked flavour but was fresh and also didn‘t taste oily which was good. Would come again but probably ask for a different sauce.
