We were told it is served 'canteen style', but staff were helpful. Food was great big portions! Wouldn't recommend more than 4 due to table set up, but possible if you know you're splitting tables. Excellent variety of flavours!

Such an amazing experience. We highly recommend the golden soup base for hot pot. The meat and Seafood were fresh and delicious with the soup base and seasoning. The staff were absolutely lovely and refilled our soup base without asking everytime it vaporised a bit along with refilling the seasoning side ( garlic and soya sauce and more..) with no extra charges. Would also recommend to have some extra vigges and instant noodles if you're a noodles lover. Not to forget they have halal chicken and meat choices along with the soup bases as well. Prices are a bit high but the portions are big, it's better to go there as a group. Definitely coming back again!

First visit here. Went with my son in law. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Quite a variety of different meats, some very strange to western palates, but a good choice of recognisable cuts. We had the Marbled beef which was served frozen and thinly sliced on ice. This was cooked in the broth for 30 seconds then dipped in the sauce. It's frozen for ease of serving and is absolutely fine. We also had prawn mash which is made into small balls then added to the broth for 2 mins as was the pork mash. For mash think of mince. The mushroom broth had lots of different mushrooms in. We also had a spicy broth which the server suggested we have milder, which was fine Served with Egg fried rice and a tiger beer. We went at 6pm and it soon filled up with local Chinese customers who were enjoying themselves. We were certainly full by the end of our meal. A great experience, just don't think you're going to a regular Chinese restaurant, it's an authentic Chinese Hot Pot restaurant. Plenty of vegetarian options available. Total cost for the two of us was £58.

Today me and my friend came here and it was a great experience. It was our 1st time doing hotpot so we didn’t really know what we was doing, but they had nice friendly staff and helped us pick based from there recommendation, and it was good value for money. It was just a little hard to get there attention to get more drinks :) 10/10 recommend

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING! The food was really amazing. We had a split broth hotpot- one bone and one spicy. They both tasted amazing. The spicy one was not too spicy, but definitely had a kick and tasted really flavourful. The bone one, meanwhile, was lovely and rich, deepening the flavours of the meat. We went for the beef lover platter. The set hotpot meals are definitely for at least four people- unfortunately, it was just me and my boyfriend so we didn’t end up finishing the meal, but they let us take away the rest of the meal free of charge!! Service was amazing, everyone was super friendly and we received food really quickly. They kept our broths topped up with hot water, and let us know the cook times for the food which they delivered at the start of the meal. I would 100% recommend this place. Well worth the hour drive!

A very different experience. If you haven't been before ask the staff to explain how it works or even, as we did, go for one or two of their ready selected options. There's a large pan of boiling water which is placed in the middle of the table, you can choose what you want in the water, we opted for one side spicy and the other not. You then do the cooking yourselves - adding your veg, meat or whatever else you've chosen. Ask and they'll advise on cooking time for each item (most of them we had were 2-5 mins). Once cooked you dip in your chosen sauce and enjoy. Don't be put off by the pale colour of the meat once cooked (this is how boiled meat looks), as once dipped in the sauces it tastes delicious. There are quite a few items in there you don't find on your average UK restaurant menus if you're feeling adventurous, but if not there are other items you'll be familiar with. It's great fun and a real way to bring everyone together at the table. Would recommend if you want to try something a bit different. Decor basic. Staff really friendly and helpful.

My first hotpot experience and it was truly amazing as a newcomer! Thankfully we came with some friends who were accustomed to using hotpot and they ordered for our table accordingly. The broth itself was extremely flavourful, not too spicy. We had an array of meats, seafood and vegetables which seemed very fresh and cooked well in the broth. The staff were so friendly and welcoming too! The only complaint would be that the way to make your sauce isn’t so easy. Our friends said it’s not convenient this way and a station would be better. The price for everything we got was very reasonable too! All in all, this was a great first experience and I would definitely come back! Will be having hotpot again in the future!

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. Nice helpful staff. Very quick service. I never had greens so fresh and crunchy in a restaurant. I would recommend it to anyone.

[November 2021] A brilliant experience, my 11yr old who doesn't like spicy food had a tomato and mushroom based pot, I went for a rather spicier alternative! if you are not used to this method of cookery (as we were not) take the guidance of a waiter/waitress for the items you choose or be guided by a Chinese friend. Not a cheap Sunday lunch for two but probably one of the most interesting and appetising I have experienced. Book ahead to avoid disappointment, it is very busy and the predominantly Chinese clientelle is witness to the quality and originality of what you cook in your pot......yes, some of the menu items will not sit well with a westerners mindset but that is not what this place is about! Go there, eat there.... enjoy!
