1. Whisky Shorts ★★★★★

   This is a great little pub and one of the few left that has play equipment for the kids. Came for some food with friends and it was all as you'd expect- cheap and cheerful, but perfect for a reasonably priced family meal. Staff were friendly and helpful. And the atmosphere was pleasent with a good hubbub around the place and sport on the telly. Overall a nice boozer for a family meal and will definitely go back!

   Came in for lunch with my youngest son and grandson. Lovely atmosphere and beautiful Christmas decorations! Friendly staff and great service. Our food came out really quickly and was amazing. Great value for money, thank you!

   We enjoyed the prebooked festive meal here last night. The table was dressed nicely, meals were tasty, portions were very generous and fairly priced. Thanks to the team for a fun evening. Under 5 stars as pub interior needs a spruce up when the Christmas decorations come down.

   Decent price for tasty food. FIL didn’t find his steak hot enough for his liking, but everything was fine otherwise. The cheese & bacon burger was good, plus generous with two patties. My sweet chilli chicken sandwich was very nice. The ciabatta was fresh and the chicken was flavourful. I would order that again. The food took a little while to come out despite the place being quiet. That’s my only critique. However, service was friendly.

   Proper pub with good food and kid friendly beer garden. Good food good selection of drinks. Feels like a regulars pub with friendly atmosphere. Staff seem relaxed but on the ball at the same time which adds to the welcoming feeling. If you like a pub to be a pub it's for you

   Chose the pub based on Google reviews as we were passing by around lunchtime. The outside looks a little unloved but inside it has a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. There is a large menu and the food was quickly served and very tasty. Unless you are local you will probably need your satnav to find it, but make the effort if you are in the area!

   Everything you would expect from a top Greene King pub. Good menu, friendly staff and quick service. Plenty of screens, although probably best to book if you really want to watch the sport as can get very busy.

   Great service, food and reasonable prices (no more expensive than other pubs). The place has a large garden, lots of screens indoors for sports fans and a play area for kids outdoors. Also the owners have their pet German shepherd inside and dogs are welcome there. Great place all around for relaxing and enjoying food and drink.
