Really enjoyed our meal here! We tried the chicken katsu curry ramen and the piri piri tonkotsu ramen, and both were super yummy and full of flavour. Great service, a nice place, and delicious food overall. Would definitely visit again!

Had a delightful meal with a friend here. The menu has lots of tasty options with a few for vegetarians. I would definitely recommend one of the noodle dishes which are delicious and brilliant portion sizes. Service was quick and very friendly Our waiter had a great knowledge of the menu and helped to chose what to have. Prices were good considering the location of the restaurant.

Brilliant, staff were amazing, atmosphere was great and food was 10/10. I have to say though, the strawberry matcha latte is below average (3/10), the jam is fresh (which is great in concept) but it doesnβt mix in with the rest of the drink making it bland. Overall would definitely recommend.

This restaurant is located right on the ground floor of Westgate mall as I happened to walk by there in the Oxford city centre. Their student offer (10 pounds) was a noticeable sales promotion hanged outside which triggered my interest. Undoubtedly, this flyer was an admirable bonus for the restaurant. Service (5/5): The servers are all very attentive and polite. Regardless of how many questions to be asked, they will explain the daily offer and discounts to you with patience. Food (4/5): The 10-pound student offer contains a ramen and a powl of beans. The pork ramen was clearly pre-made with soup base and the pork tasted soft, indicating a good boiling time. The beans were also tasty with curry powder. My only concern was the soup base and the beans were both a bit on the salty side. If these items came out blander from the kitchen and customers could place the sauce by themselves, then it would turn out better. Disappointed points to improve: - Limited items to choose from the student menu. I get that it's a cost-saving menu, but giving only two ramen options to choose was a bit disappointing. In fact, if students gets choose a certain number of ingredients into the ramen (ex. 1 meat, 2 veggies), then there will be higher retention and customer satisfaction. - Expensive separate items outside meal deals It's normal to trigger customers to get the meal deals for sales, however, I do think some items as takoyaki, edamame, and cakes are simply overcharged to order separately. Normally with a meal deal there's the possibility of getting something more to eat, but with the system you have to order it separately with the original price outside of the deal. I think it will be better to let the customers decide how many items they want to order within a meal deal, then be able to choose from a range of meal deals that suit better for them.

Great service, allowing us to sit and wait for a table we desired more. Quite busy, but not too long waiting times, although reservation is recommended. The food is amazing and quite authentic with a set menu including Asahi Super Dry too. Portion sizes are quite generous so good value for money. Unfortunately they do not do student discount anymore, but instead a stamp card. Affordable - Well recommended.

Ramens were fantastic. You can choose how much creamy it can be. My favourite of all was the Chicken Karaage. Cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly. You'll be greeted in a Japanese way from welcoming you and saying good-bye. I love their toilets as well. Though dark, it goes well with the theme.ad very clean.

One of the best japanese restaurants I've been to in England. The service, food and price were all good and had an amazing time. If you're in Oxford for a day trip, it's worth visiting

After visiting this place in manchester we where expectation was big, because we where very happy and amazed with the food and customer service but this place is nothing like the one in manchester. We order beer and plum vine for drinks. Drinks where very nice just very over price. After we order Spice Takoyaki. Very impressed be this food. Taste very nice. After we order two Miso Tonkotsu Ramens. This ramen are good but on as good like there signature one Shoryu Ganso Tankotsu. After we order dessers. Miso mochi ice cream chocolate and cookie dough. Not the best mochi we ever had . And another disappointment was there season dessert Sakura soft roll cake. Very tasteless and nothing special for this price. I would give them 4 start but we very very disappointed be our customer service. We wait for get attention for hour. Staff keep walking around like headless chickens and they didnt care about our empty table, empty glasses and we had to wait 30 minutes get our bill. Definitelly not coming back because such bad custumer service.

The food was excellent, but the customer service was a big NO! The fact they charge a service fee of 12.5% for a table of 2 is ridiculous. At the restaurant I work at we don't charge gratuity unless the table is larger than 6. They refused give me a student discount as I left my ID in the car (fair enough) but when I asked them to remove the the service fee the guy asked me "is there a reason why?" in a mean tone. I was tempted to give my honest opinion "You didn't even serve my food, you never checked on us and you didn't even seat us yourself". I chose not to say these as I didn't want to cause a scene but I really felt the urge to. The white guy in the black shirt (not the manager I assume) never even smiled at us when collecting our payment, Jesus, I know you hate your job but you don't have to make it so obvious. The customer service truly is an embarrassment to all other restaurants and as a waiter myself I experienced everything you should NOT do such as guilt tripping your customer from removing the service fee that shouldn't even be on there in the first place. I give tips when deserved not when asked for. I paid the expensive bill and when we were leaving none of the staff said thank you/Arrigato like they did with the other customers. It's a big shame becuase I would come back for the food but until they staff change I will likely never return. Great chefs let down by awful customer service.
