   I’m only halfway through my meal having stopped to just look at the menu and deciding to make an unplanned stop. The food is the most delicious sushi I’ve had in years. The salmon tartare gave me a mouth orgasm, the scallops were divine and I just added another hour to my parking so I can try as many things I can get in my tummy. This guy has nailed it. My only regret was waiting so long before I found my new food home.

   Amazing food. The Chef (also the owner) is amazing. He does all the cooking and makes all the sushi ❤️We had the Oyster feast. It was the best I have had in a long time. Absolutely loved it.

   MiYa is such a gem, the food is absolutely delicious, the chef cooks in the open, creating beautiful tasty dishes. Everything we tried we loved. The cod, the scallops, the sushi. The wait staff are kind and helpful, they make you feel very welcome and we can't wait to return.

   I don’t usually eat oysters – but Mi Ya changed everything. The tempura oyster was massive (think five bites), rosette-shaped, crisp outside and creamy inside. I’m still dreaming about it. We shared tofu steak, sashimi, steak bites and sushi – all beautifully prepared. Every dish felt intentional and refined. The warm sake was a must – perfectly served and tied everything together. Chef Ronnie has quietly run Mi Ya for over 10 years. He works in full view from the open kitchen – calm, precise, and focused. You trust him instantly. Service was excellent – warm, knowledgeable and thoughtful without ever being intrusive. Mi Ya isn’t flashy – it’s honest, elegant, and unforgettable. I came in oyster-shy. I left planning my return.

   We had a wonderful experience at Mi Ya. The food was absolutely delicious—every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The presentation was fantastic; each dish looked like a work of art, making the experience feel extra special. The service was very friendly and welcoming, although it was a bit on the slower side. That said, it gave us more time to enjoy the ambience and conversation, so it wasn’t a big issue for us. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this spot to any sushi lover. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

   Great food here, service is good. Portions are fairly large in terms of sushi even if it looks expensive. Had to pay by bank transfer as card machine down due to wifi so that's not ideal for a restaurant full but still a favourite place to have sushi and sashimi.

   Sushi was mediocre, party of 3 and one person had to wait 40 mins extra for their food, the place was not busy. We had ice cream for dessert which had ice crystals in, clearly refrozen after melting. Server was sick and kept rushing to bathroom. All in all not pleasant experience.

   We have eaten here a few times. The food is of excellent quality and the menu variety is great. However, last time we ate here we ordered an appetiser, main and side dish. The side dish came out first, then the mains but the appetiser never arrived. In the end we just cancelled the appetiser. Seemed disappointing considering an appetiser should come out first. So felt can only give 3 stars this time.

   Absolutely unreal food I now wouldn’t go anywhere else! Make sure you book a table in advance as they are always packed which is ofcourse a sign of a great place. My favourite restaurant never ever disappoints.

   This place has such a lovely feel, setting and ambience. We went there tonight for the first time, we had not booked a table and we soon noticed we were lucky to get one. The food was absolutely AMAZING! Best sushi I have ever tried, nice pace of plate delivery and good presentation. Staff were lovely too, recommended some dishes. Overall, amazing food.
