We had an amazing dinner here, especially since Erick and his old team are back in the kitchen. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and we will definitely be coming back for more. We had a lot of dishes from the halloumi starter to the black cod main and pineapple dessert and we were not disappointed at all.

Drgnfly is an incredible place to eat. I was blown away with the themeing of the restaurant and the quality of the food. The evening i went (Saturday 13th) it was fully packed! Everyone seemed to be having a great time :) They seemed a little understaffed with about 3 servers covering all the table but they were working incredibly hard and were so helpful and friendly, I didnt get there names but just wanted to shout them out as they really made our night. Overall I think the whole evening there was an amazing experience and I will definitely be coming back!

What stunning restaurant, so beautifully decorated and styled, it really causes you to stop and stare as you enter the doors! My husband and I had booked the Valentine’s set meal and had arrived a little early, we were the first to enter but were greeted warmly and shown to our table. We enjoyed sipping some Valentines Cocktails whilst we waited on our food… Nibbles - EBI Senbei (prawn crackers) - huge crackers with a spicy mayonnaise type dip to go with them. To Start - Aigamo Gyozas (crispy duck dumplings with hoisin) & Heart-Shaped California Roll (Dorset crab meat, avocado and cucumber topped with tobiko, spicy may and tempura crumb). - Both were very tasty, the gyozas really crisp on the outside and the hoisin had a deep, strong flavour which was great. The California roll was really good, however they did fall apart really easily so you ended up with a good chunk of it in your soy dipping dish. To Follow - Tori Katsu Curry (chicken katsu with Japanese curry sauce) & Yakisoba (chicken, king prawns and vegetables stir-fried with ramen noodles). Now these 2 dishes were absolutely fantastic! The chicken katsu was SO crisp, we’ve not experienced such a crisp coating ever in chicken, whilst the chicken stayed succulent and the sauce was really flavoursome. The yakisoba had plenty of chicken and prawns and the vegetables were very fresh. To Finish - Matcha Platter For 2 (Two mini matcha brûlée, matcha mochi and matcha chocolate truffles). The brûlée was really creamy, although cold, the truffles smooth and intense and the mochi were incredibly cold (the centre was still a little frozen) and was so-so. Some improvement was needed here. After the Valentine’s cocktails we had a couple of pints of Drgnfly pilsner which was a very decent pilsner, with great taste and a smooth finish. Throughout the meal all servers were friendly, attention and smiling throughout the meal. Our main server was Karly and she was truly wonderful, so full of joy, nothing was too much trouble and she was enthusiastic about making sure you had everything to enjoy a great evening. Thank you Karly! Some feedback - for such an amazingly styled restaurant full out authentic charm, the music was a rather odd choice, it was standard music you would hear in the car, rather than some traditional Asian instrumental work that we were expecting.

My son brought me here as a early Mother’s Day celebration, atmosphere and food was amazing. We did had to remind staff of drinks that were orders and forgot about . Also a two hour time slot is not long enough, we were looking forward to trying the pineapple desert but was told it would take 15 minutes to prepare and we had 5 minutes left on the table . So for them two reason marked it down.

The food, location, décor is all absolutely fabulous! The place is gorgeous, probably one of the best in town and the food was wonderful, fresh and tasty, there was 1dish we didn't like all in all. However we had a small issue with the service. Don't get me wrong the whole team was lovely! Kind, polite and professional, water were served at the table and plates collected and all our requests were swiftly handled.... however, (we were told in advance that not all portions will be arriving at the same time so no surprise) But 25 minutes wait between the Noddle dish that took about 15m to arrive and the Sushi is toooooo long, we have complained as we were disappointed especially with our wonderful past experience and we have received a nice discount and so the level of service were upped once more, it did however ended up in this review, because all the portions should arrive together, that's just how it is. The price came to £27 per person, not too pricey but not worth the wait. I look forward to come again guys, the food was absolutely delicious.

Very happy with our visit. We've had many different starters and it was all very good. To finish as main we've had an octopus from the big plates with Konishi Gold Sake and that was just a perfect combination. Lovely interior, good service. Deffinitely would recommend.

Before I go into how good the food I have to say how good the waiter (Kaito) was! He was funny and very welcoming, has to be one of the best waiters I have ever had! Now for the food! The temper king prawns where amazing and were one of the best I have had! The crispy chicken was amazing but not 100% sure on the sauce but was still really tasty! Last but not least the Coconut Mochi is so good, I would definitely recommend! All in all an amazing dining experience and it was fairly priced!
