First time to come and collect my stuff in Next shop at Westquay. I had no idea how to do and all staffs I faced they were nice and polite to me. They gave me an advice where I gonna go and what i need to do. Exceptional sevice Thank you very much.
I returned a purse with a broken zip and had a very upsetting experience. First, a young boy served me and was quite rude, simply saying, “I don’t know what I can do about it,” before passing me on. A young girl then told me they couldn’t do anything without the label. I offered to get another purse from the shelf to show where the tag is, but they ignored me and made me feel as though I’d stolen the item. I was then handed over to an older lady (possibly in her 50s), who was also rude and dismissive. I was simply asking for an exchange, but I was treated with suspicion and humiliation. It was an incredibly disappointing and embarrassing experience.
I was verbally assaulted by a very rude member of staff today, early 50's, large set, brown curly hair and glasses. All I was doing was queuing behind another customer to pay and she barked something at me from 15 feet away which I couldn't hear because of the music. Apparently I wasn't supposed to be queuing there although that has always been the entrance to the tills as long as the store has been open. She gestured towards some small signs at chest height which I wouldn't have seen because I'm 6'7. It was peculiar that she didn't accost the lady in front of me but waited until it was my turn before her rude tirade. I was so offended by her attitude that I put my shopping down and left the store. I have been a customer here since it opened without any issues until now and I have had a next account for over 14 years. I feel I was singled out by this member of staff because of my appearance or dress, she obviously believed I was beneath her. I am very reluctant to return to the store again.
A lovely branch of Next located in Southampton. Plenty of clothing selections for men and women. Staff are helpful and friendly.
I had to exchange some boxer shorts that had been bought for me as a Christmas present. The young lady on the counter was absolutely fantastic and helped me out. Please pass on my thanks. RM
Good selection of clothes for this season, however they’re very under staffs, the store is busy and there’s not enough staff to help, the shelves were very very dusty and needed to deep clean before they re shelve. I recommend this store if the stores going to get cleaned and put extra staff for helping customers.

Late night shopping till 8pm in West Quay, however Next already closed at 7pm! Ridiculous
Fainted in store and had amazing help from 3 member of staff. They got me water and helped me to a chair, they then continued to make sure I was okay. They made sure I got food and a drink and were over all amazing and helpful. I hope they see this and know that I am very thankful.
Went in today. Found a shirt I wanted to buy. Took it to the till. There were no other customers waiting, one woman on the till. She saw me coming over, picked up a bag and walked away from the till, then went back and pressed the button for someone else to come and assist me and told me someone will be there in a minute. I didn’t wait. Put the shirt on the wrong rack to give her something else to do and left. Wouldn’t go back. Customer service appalling
