   Went in this store, had about £150 worth of clothing in basket, my kids needed the toilet so I found the customer toilet and it was a disgrace, no toilet paper and somone had smeared poo all over the toilet seat, we asked for someone to clean it so kids could use toilet, manager refused and locked the toilet so my 4 year old daughter wet herself whilst trying to locate another toilet in another store, the manager said no to using staff toilet and refused to clean the customer one, not happy

   Great place for large size clothes and travel luggages. Love the IT brand of suitcases as they have the perfect balance of quality and price. Really hard wearing and all come with long money back guarantee of many years. I find the best ones are hard shell with the 4 spinny wheels. Love the large clothes sizes and again good quality for the price. Love the discounts with the Matalan card too. The store has a great free 4 hour car park too.

   I think that most people know of Matalan and this is a nicely spaced store with a good range of very reasonably priced clothing for all the family. The children's range is very useful as we know how quickly they grow out of clothes before they have had their wear out of them! There is a range of household goods too. The staff are friendly and helpful. In addition there is free parking here for four hours if you want to visit the town centre on your trip !

   Excellent value for money - usually items are more than 50% cheaper than equivalents from other stores (such as M&S, Debenhams). More variety than other low-price stores (such as Primark). Extra large sizes usually available - such as XXL and XXXL. Particular sizes, however, are often difficult to find on the hangers/shelves as items are hung or stacked in the wrong order (often put back in the wrong place by customers?) and individual hangers often show the wrong size for the garment hanging on them. Racks, shelves, etc. are often too close together restricting access and free movement. Products are not always arranged in a logical manner, and some may be hard to find. It is sometimes hard to find any staff in some areas of the store
