“Have always had good service here right from when they opened many years ago. The shop now is a lot quieter than it used to be but still get good friendly service. Also a couple of the older members of staff often provide good advice and product knowledge and are happy to share tips on when certain products may be reduced in price. It'll be sad when this place goes (its rumoured to be moving into Sainsbury's...) So make the most of it in its present form whilst you can...”

“Madina Paak Superstore under the new management of Besties International is amazing! The manager is so friendly, the staff are always ready to help, and the butcher is the nicest I’ve met. Best Asian superstore in town with both Pakistani & Indian groceries and even a European section with Romanian bread, yogurt, and drinks. “Great shopping experience today, not been in for ages but the clothing is gorgeous for autumn, lovely short jumpers, really well fitting boot leg jeans and joggers, comfy and warm short jackets. Underwear also good as it always has been. I've never bought so much there's so much autumn choice and most items I got were under £16. Could have done with more variety in the boots , not everyone wants UGG style. Also the sizes are a bit mad, I'm about a size 10 to 12 but everything I bought was extra small and the jeans were 8 so size down if you go. Shout out to the ladies in the changing room who were superb, nothing was too much trouble. Great staff throughout the store and quicker service than elsewhere , River Island take note.”

“I think that most people know of Matalan and this is a nicely spaced store with a good range of very reasonably priced clothing for all the family. The children's range is very useful as we know how quickly they grow out of clothes before they have had their wear out of them! There is a range of household goods too. The staff are friendly and helpful. In addition there is free parking here for four hours if you want to visit the town centre on your trip !”

“Super busy store just on the edge of the town centre. Large free car park and nice to go in early afternoon, or late or early in the day. It's a smaller and older style store, but has all the items. Sadly it's just too busy for a town centre store. Great place to pop into when you are in town.”

“My usual stop-off for my lunch on the way to work. Have got everything you might want, plus other stuff. Staff are helpful - this morning as I was looking through the sandwiches I was told to ask for anything I couldn't see, as they probably had it in the back (she was filling the sandwich section at the time) A mix of self-serve and staffed tills. Cash point outside. Bakery section at the back of the first aisle has some lovely bits in it (the pizza rolls are great!)”
