   I went in for a gait analysis and shoe fitting and left really happy with the expert advice and choice of shoe. The staff were very insightful and gave me plenty of time on the treadmills to test each shoe, while also explaining the level of support I needed and considering my feeback. I tried on 6–7 shoes and was talked through the full range of options to find the right shoe for me. Great service, thank you!

   Great experience at Up & Running Basingstoke. Needed some new running shoes but had few expectations about what to buy, the staff were knowledgeable, not at all pushy and silent tone getting to know my running needs, terrain, preferences, running gait and history of shoes. I was able to try multiple pairs of shoes, try running and review style via a video recording. The staff took on board feedback for each shoe and suggested suitable alternatives. I’d definitely return and recommend for others. Good selection and stock too.

   Amazing service here. We’ve been back three times to get me, my husband and teenage daughter running shoes. Plenty of choice and advice. The staff are all very knowledgable and friendly, and without judgement as to how much/often you run. So whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned runner putting in lots of miles a week, this place is great.

   I cannot praise Richard and this shop highly enough. Richard certainly knows his stuff and spent an hour with me trying different trainers watching me run etc ( the shop was quiet!) he listened to everything I said and matched me perfectly.. conscious of my budget the whole time. If you need any help with trainers for running get yourself over to Basingstoke.. London Marathon I’m ready to take you on!…. Sub 4!

   Popped into Up and Running yesterday, The lady serving was helpful from the get go, did a gait analysis and she was very patient and supportive whilst I tried the many pairs on and got back on the treadmill each time. Would definitely recommend, quality service by Molly and came away with a great pair of new shoes.

   Went there to get basic running gear, as a complete novice. Nicola was very helpful and took a good deal of time to ensure I had the best shoes etc. Checking later, I found the prices to be similar to what they would have been online, so a great experience and very good value.
