Disappointing. Decided to stop for lunch but almost all indoor seating has been removed. The only 2 indoor tables that remain were occupied. Very unlikely that I will pop in again given the very low likelihood of getting a seat.

Staffed today by two teenagers which isn't a problem in itself but one was chitchatting with friends, leaving the other to struggle alone. Also food options are very limited. Decent cake though and a lovely view over the lake.

To set the scene, my family and I went to Dinton on a Saturday at midday, during half term and while there was an event on further into the park. So we decided to start by going to the cafe. There was NO food. Yes there were snacks, crisps etc but they ran out of hot food. Unbelievable for a Saturday lunch time. Then the service. Tantalisingly bad. There are two points, a pay point and a pickup point. Right next to each other so everyone is standing like a tin of sardines waiting for their drink. I was queueing for around 10 minutes and then had to wait another 10 minutes for my order. All this when they had call buzzers sitting in the dock which they could have used. Then to top it off, my bloody drink was cold. It was only a hot chocolate which is obviously mainly hot water or hot milk… so not too hard. The only thing that made it bearable was the view over the lake. To summarise - DO NOT GO.

Lovely spot to have a coffee with a great outdoor seating area overlooking the lake. We only had coffee so can't comment on the food, but the coffee was strong, flavourful and nicely made, with good service. Nice to have the option of only ordering a small size, for a reasonable price too.

Good coffee this morning but very disappointing breakfast. We checked the menu online before deciding to go for a family breakfast but what was available was much less than the menu. Minimal sausage baps with the cheapest bread and three miserable sausages. Ditto bacon. Enormous potential completely wasted here.

Really lovely spot - nice to be raised up and have a great view across the lake. Coffee and babychino both great and polite staff. Only downside the potholey car park.

This could be an amazing place not just for a break but for a proper lunch or dinner with just gorgeous view but… service is unbelievably unorganised and untrained (staff were trying but they need proper training). Food selection is ridiculously plain and guess what?… they close at 4:30pm so no service when you finish with your works day and go for a walk ?! Another big disappointment is total lack of recycling point :( Everything goes in one bin :( Not sustainable and very badly thought of
