My favourite coffee spot! Love the branch close to the Metro bank in Reading town centre. The staff are so lovely and friendly and the atmosphere is always wonderful. The menu is also really good with a good selection of sweets treats. I'm always trying out their seasonal hot drinks but my regular favourites are the Caramel Latte Special or the Honey Comb Latte. Can't wait for my next trip!

The hot white chocolate mocha drink was not so good. Pista chocolate cake was ok. It was a miss.

We went out for coffee this morning, and there was a very rude barista. When I asked for the babyccino to be served in a regular cup, she sighed and muttered something in her own language, which was really rude and unprofessional. On top of that, the babyccino itself was just warm milk overloaded with chocolate — completely undrinkable. People go there with their families to enjoy a nice coffee, not to be sworn at in a different language.

Excellent coffee and great service. A special shout out to the Italian girl behind the counter. Her kindness, politeness and quality of coffee was outstanding, even if was served in a busy time of the day. I'd definitely recommend and come back.

Absolutely lovely staff serving your drinks. Genuine smiles on their faces at all times and very kind manners, even when they feel pressured to be quick when as the queue gets longer. These little things make your day from early in the morning, and that cannot be paid with money. Thank you.

Very nice a clean and spacious, however I counted 10 people on laptops taking all the comfortable seating for their one cup of coffee or bottle of water. If you want to allow this for the sake of your customers buying a whole lot more, why not allocate one area for these people, if many more joined them they would have taken up all of the tables

Average coffee shop, taste of the lattes was not food, and it took time to deliver and pay. Extensive seating area.

One of the Very large shop in Reading, so could see seats available is a good thing.. Very polite staff, and I used toilet which was very clean. Staff didn't bother you, but as others left they wiped down the tables, so you could sit there as long as, without someone asking if you'd like anything else. The barista who made the coffee for me was really experienced and made the coffee very nice and matched my expectations. Why 4 rating is, I tried the shop once again and I had bad experience as the trainee barista has made the coffee which is really waste for money. So recommended but see if there are trainees plz have a thought before ordering

Ordered a Mozzarella & Tomato pastry with a Cortado, was served more of a piece of coal. Cortado was good though. Shop understaffed for a weekend only 4 people one a trainee. Tables dirty. Prep area looked like not cleaned for some time.

This Nero coffee shop is located on the riverside in the middle of the Oracle shopping Centre. It’s a small shop but has character. There is seating inside and out and in the summer sitting outside is lovely. The shop is on the North side of the river And so gets blazing sunshine directly on it and the outdoor seating. I’m sitting there now. It’s Good Friday 2022. The sun is blazing down. I have a large Americano. Not a care in the world. Recommended.
