I had very nice morning at this Costa Coffee today - I ordered flat white with oat milk and cheesy twist which was offered warmed. I really enjoy small talk with a Polish lady at the till - she was really friendly, patient with me, very kind. Thanks, guys!
Very nice coffee shop, I've been serving by 2 ladies veri helpful and speaking very nice, im costa coffee fun but not all the shops are like this, sometimes staff is rude and they don't listen your order and give you wrong coffee
Visited Costa and had a great experience! The atmosphere is warm, and the staff are excellent. Special thanks to Barista Marcin and Kusum for the perfect coffee. My cortado was spot on. Thanks, team, for the great service! I’ll be back.
Staff acted annoyed because I came in 3 mins before closing time to grab an espresso. Something which takes less than 30 seconds. Incredibly rude like she was doing me a favour by making it. So I said nah forget it and left. Either serve me, or don't, you haven't closed yet, so you should serve me, and if you don't want to then at least have the gaull to say I don't want to serve you because I want to close early, don't serve me and act like you're doing me a favour and I've pissed you off. Anyway, no stress, I won't be back. Not my fault the clock on your till is 5 mins fast and says it's 6:02 when actually I'm writing this now and it's 6:02 so how could it have been 6:02 when I was in there 5 minutes ago. Ludicrous. This was April 1st 2025 at 5:57pm
The staff was very unprofessional. On February 19th at 5:32 PM, my sister and I arrived at the store and stood at the counter to place an order. At that time, there were no other customers—only the two of us waiting for about 4–5 minutes. However, the staff member was merely cleaning and chatting with someone in a foreign language. Although she clearly saw us waiting to order, she chose to ignore us, which left us extremely disappointed. As a result, we decided to leave and go to the Starbucks across the street, where we received much friendlier service. After getting our coffee from Starbucks, we noticed that the same staff member was now serving another customer. I don’t know what we did wrong as customers to be treated with such disregard. I hope the store management will review how their staff is trained to prevent losing more customers in the future.
In this day and age, you would think that customer service would be friendly to those that are disabled, especially to those that have hidden disabilities that might need to use toilets quite regularly. Disappointingly this is not the case for this branch of Costa Coffee. Even after you say to them that you have a hidden disability and ask to use the disabled loo, they look you up and down judging you for where your disability might be and then they have to ask the manager who does the same! Utterly discriminatory.

Small location for such a big town. Nicely situated thou. Corner location, few tables inside and 3 or 4 outside. Everything you would expect from Costa. Staff were disorganised on the day of my visit, more interested in their phones than work. And I'm not sure about staff emptying the bins outside and bringing it past were you're eating and drinking. I didnt appreciate it. 3 Stars, definitely room for improvement!
I can not fault the staff or the coffee. The staff are always very helpful and friendly and the coffee is great. However I have one complaint and that is no toilet facilities. That's not the fault of the staff so doesn't stop me using this Costa branch.
