A busy cafe on the edge of the airfield with tables both inside and outside. The food is good and service is quick. It can be very pleasant to sit outside to eat / drink as then you can watch the activities on the airfield which is generally quite busy with light aircraft and helicopter flights.
A really nice cafe, I dont know why I've not been here before. The staff were incredibly friendly and it was such a joy hearing them interact with the children in the queue and have a laugh with the adults. There is a great variety of food on the menu, and it was all quick to come out. 10/10 I'll definitely be returning more often! Added bonus if you love planes as you can watch them over breakfast!
My daughter had a flight today with a friend so we went along. We had a great time watching the planes go up and come down. A great place to spend some time
Why can you give umbrella to one table but not us?? Discrimination Pissing down rain and don’t care about their customers. Rude staff…. Really gone down hill. Not happy customers at all. Also was told that the umbrellas are really hard to get to and the staff can’t get them! Why is the shed round the corner open and very easy to get to??? Also chefs in the car park smoking in from of new custom. Appalling. Toilets are a health risk also very slippery What a joke
A wonderful cafe with a great food selection. Children's choices too. Friendly and attentive staff. We sat in seats that were originally in a 747 aircraft. Free water available for customers to help themselves. Disappointing that there were no dairy free or vegan cakes/treats. Plenty of seating inside and out. Great views to watch the helicopters and aeroplanes taking off and landing. Toilets could be kept in a better state, but it was busy.
They were very busy so I had to wait a little while but that wasn't an issue. The bacon roll and the coffee was spot on. Bacon is not salty and bap soft and filled. The coffee was superb. Café is much nicer since the revamp. Today happened to be the London Mud Club meet so the carpark was full of Landover defenders which was a bonus.
The first time I went to the Pathfinder Cafe I was unsure what to expect, especially as cafes at airfields can be hit and miss. Thankfully, it’s really nice. The recent refurb must have helped as it feels very modern, friendly and an overall laid-back comfortable ambience for all, including dogs! The prices are reasonable, good quality drinks & food and plenty of veggie options. I’ve now been twice and would happily visit again!
Just happened to be going past the airport and saw it had a cafe that's open to all 7 days a week, Sunday is the busiest day. Loads of outside sitting not as much inside, you find a table, order at the till and wait for your order number to be called. The choice of food is your standard cafe food and service breakfast all day. Price wise no more expensive than your standard garden centre cafe. The atmosphere was buzzing, from the sound of people and the roar of aircraft taking off. The staff were friendly and worked hard to keep the food coning. Overall a great little place to meet up, have great food and watch some planes.
Arrived early for breakfast and the promised parking for our Jaguar XK Car Club was ready. Cafe was busy but they are obviously used to it and have plenty of staff cheerful and willing to get you your breakfast on time. Freshly cooked and nice and hot. This all at a very reasonable cost. Add in the airport experience and what more can you want. Can’t fault it.
Friendly staff, the hot drinks were served quickly, the food was a little behind, but it seemed like a busy day, with every table inside full, and outside was busy. Food was good, all was very fresh and cooked well. The bacon could've been cooked a bit crispier, as could the hash browns, but all in all very good. I'll be visiting again in the future :)
