Nothing worng with this store as such - you order online, the staff get the product. But the website IS ATROCIOUS. The online help is just as bad. Links that should exist don't and no word of explanation. Hopeless. Never ever again. Would rather pay more to be honest than come to Argos again.
I have used Argos hedge end on many occasions including today, the staff go out of their way to help and are so pleasant. Wish more staff elsewhere were the same. I always thank them but thought l would also voice it here. Hopefully they will be suitably rewarded by management!
I saw how a member of staff ('Georgie' on the badge) in Argos tonight mistreated and made fun of an Asian girl. She explained the reason for a refund clearly for a few times after a recent purchase, however, the staff refused to do it and humiliated her. I felt very sorry for the customer. I had to go quickly and I wish I could have helped the girl.
Big thank you to Paula for sorting out a complex issue regarding an Xmas tree. Returning and re-purchasing a different tree turned into a bit of a nightmare, over two days. It was eventually sorted by the in-store manager Paula. Top marks for effort!.
Ordered tv couple days ago. Picked up no problems. Quick and easy. Everyone on the ball.
Great service from the young man on collections. He even supplied me with a trolley as I was on a crutch and my parcel was too big for me to carry. Highly recommended.

Jade at the Hedge End store (2:45pmish on 07/02/22 was kind, polite and extremely helpful. Her customer service was beyond exceptional and I will be using Argos more frequently in the future because of my experience today! Give this worker praise! - A very happy customer!

Shocking customer experience, will never be using this shop again, rude staff and a very rude manager, tried to return something as per precedure, I was told I was unable to return this item as it has been used? It has not or never been used by myself, its in the exact same condition and packaging it was in when purchased, I explained this over and over to be met with, a sarcastic " Sorry its not our policy when its been used" in this case I was clearly sold used goods then. Its not even about the fact I could not be return my item as I took it to another argos who took it back no problem its about the way I was spoken to and made out to be a liar and left the shop in tears.
Use if you feel like service is an optional extra. The staff were rude when there was an issue and unable to take any responsibility. I was told "It's not their problem". Really disappointing as it's such a convenient place to have.
