   Came into Black Sheep to use the £2 student drink offer and honestly the customer service ruined the whole experience. I told the worker what I wanted and instead of helping, she kept asking me if it was “included in the email” like… I don’t know, that’s why I’m asking YOU? She kept telling me to check the email instead of just explaining which drinks were included. Who has time to scroll through emails at the till? Mind you I asked her if that ONE drink was included. The other black sheep in reading has a list with kind workers who are happy to help unlike this one. When I finally decided to just get a matcha, she literally side-eyed her coworker and laughed at me. For no reason. I was polite the whole time and didn’t deserve that kind of attitude at all. It came off as rude, unprofessional, and honestly embarrassing as a customer. Student discount or not, people deserve basic respect. Won’t be coming back anytime soon

   Coffee is very good. Snacks and cakes are also very good. BUT ceramic cups are not used in most “eat-in” orders (two out of our three drinks came in paper cups) and even my “eat-in” brownie came in a paper bag! Sorry guys, there is no point in offering “eat-in” and ceramic cup option in the ordering app and then just serve everything as take-away!

   I have always popped in here every weekend in the morning for breakfast. I always go for either matcha latte or functional latte. The baristas are always nice and happy to help. Love that the atmosphere here is good, never too loud or busy.

   Order the açai bow with additional toppings of Nutella and dark chocolate chips. Only received the açai, Nutella and dark chocolate chips. No banana, peanut butter or honey granola. Very disappointed.

   Defo reccomend the salf beef bagel and the green smoothie. Both super good. I even went back later for a chocolate and strawberry waffle, ALSO SUPER GOOD. Was my first time going, will be back! No good gluten free options as mentioned, only the lemon bar so me and my friend couldn't really eat together.

   Cool & ambient. Clean with an open space feel, comfy seats, decor and lighting make the coffee shop ideal for a sit down or take out coffee. I had Honey & cardamom latte, with a touch of spice flavoured, heart warming this cold morning. I had the latte last week, was good too! Two gentlemen staff were polite, sociable and showed great customer service skills. I had a lengthy chat with them. Would recommend!

   Nice vibe, good opening hours and friendly staff. Got a coffee and brownie which were both really nice, and free oat milk which is great! Will definitely be coming back, keen to try their smoothies & range of iced drinks
